   1. What are the odds? My unserstanding he drove from Baltimore, one red light, a car cutting you off, traffic slow down and anyone of a million variables on the road, its so wild to be in that place that exact moment.

5. Just asking for a friend but was the pilot and the crew the Indigenous crowd that was being celebrated last week or was it just the regular diversity hired crowd?

6. A friend of mine is a pilot for United and flies in and out of Newark all the time (mainly to China). I’d text him and ask if he knows if DEI had anything to do with this botched, near catastrophic landing, but he’s an oversensitive liberal weenie and would probably just get upset.

7. The crash at San Francisco 13 or so years ago was caused because the auto throttle was not selected. The pilots assumed the auto throttle would maintain airspeed and then realised they were too slow and had to exchange height for airspeed to avoid a stall and landed short. Listening to the CVR should be interesting.

8. I wouldn’t want a job where a condition of employment was having a camera in my face to ensure my compliance with the 1000’s of laws I’m subject to, but this seems like a story the guys in the lunch room wouldn’t believe.
   Does Canada’s new “truck-force” have these in their semi tractors as well?

   1. I know FedEx uses them in trucks vans and feeder aircraft.
