  1. L – Interesting, could we employ him to fix crooked politicians, too.

Just asking for for a friend…or maybe up to 40 million.

  2. Or just drive a couple nails in and finish them with a hammer? He has wicked shakes. Recovering from something?

  3. 7% body fat, with a shaky nail gun … is no way to go through life son.

Yeah … more nails 1/2” from the end of framing lumber is always the way keep it from drying out and splitting free.

But don’t let Trump see this video … or he’ll hire this guy onto the Ballroom crew

    1. A couple of things seemed odd here…

One, that the 2×4 appeared to be cut too short but there was a mark that looked correct and the ones behind him also looked to be short.

And two, that he appeared to be using sanded, finished wood.

(or course, maybe the fact that he had no shoes explains the finished wood? Hmm…)

      1. I’ve done a lot of framing in a previous life and all the lumber that went into building construction was sanded.

        1. S4S … surfaced four sides. Planed four sides with eased edges.
However, today, we also have kiln dried framing lumber and fingerjointed framing lumber in attempts to keep framing lumber from drying out shrinking and twisting. Nah, just give me a nice wet piece of framing material that squirts you in the eye when using your 24oz framing hammer. Make the drywaller install shims to true up all the walls.

    2. some observations, the lack of shoes may be related to whilst clambering across the structure with the sanded boards to chap finds bare feet provide quicker and surer footing. the shakes? he’s shirtless, maybe just a chill in the air.
and the 2X4 being short? perhaps some sheeting material is going onto the vertical surface and the cross members being a weeee short insure the sheeting material has no gaps against the boards it is joined to, ie no ‘protrusions’ pushing it out.
l wish him well. the 7% body fat is me all the way. l didnt have much to begin with, then at age 20 l started at 140 pounds and by 27 had packed on 40 pounds of muscle. grabbing the fat layer consisted of something like pinching a layer of cloth.

      1. I hired a crew of Samoan Tree trimmers to trim up my 60ft tall Sycamore tree. They all took off their shoes and started climbing the tree like they were on a South Pacific island! I immediately called my insurance broker to see if I was covered against their workers comp claim. Then called my attorney.

  4. Apply similar (or identical) methods to the crooked skool-boards and batten down the radical leftist cabal (or just hang ’em from the rafters).

    1. He doesn’t understand that you can use an inside or outside measure that accounts for the thickness of the hook? on the end.

      1. Indeed, funnier is his video for remedying mysterious gaps left between plates and studs. Happens a lot I’m sure as he effs up his tape measures as soon as he gets them.
Oh, and $2.00 says the shakes are from Adderall.
I’ve known a few folks just like him. He’ll be fine when he’s about 40. If he makes it that long.

Yeah, that’s one of those things that you truly hope is just being faked for laughs.

As Scar says, they are designed like that for a reason.

  5. Or one could get a straight board, save on nails, and be able to afford work boots.

  6. interesting. like so many lessons in life l extract what is useful to me.
ignore the shakes, no shoes, is there anywhere else the trick could apply? working with steel beams etc?
the essence of the trick is he’s using a NAIL GUN, the 2X4 must be flat contacting the one underneath.
lm old school, generally speaking predated nail guns, the trick then was just careful aim with the framing hammer, drive the nails home and let that process snug everything up.

then l got a job at Galaxy pallets Smithville was it? (we were refurbishing tire pallets for Firestone l think it was in Hamilton, theyre gone now) l saw guys so adept with framing hammers, end of the shift they could toss it down, strike the floor with the head of the hammer, bounce it back up and grab the handle like it was a video playing backwards.
another chap turned the nail gun into a machine gun had a dozen nails come out in one pull of the trigger. they had a safety feature the tip of the gun had to be ‘pushed against’ the workpiece before the gun would spit out the nail. well, out they poured B-R-R-R-R-R lol !!!

elsewhere l was the electrician’s assistant grunt, doing a lot of the prep stuff. and figured out how to avoid hitting rebar when boring holes thru the new concrete block walls for all the conduit to follow:
stud finder and a marking pen.
now l spend my time tsk tsking all the liberalism that has infected Canaduh, taking care of my puppies.
quite a pair those 2, father and son, part mastiff and hound l guess. totally random colour patterns as that breed are. except these 2: 11 out of 11 points of comparison ALL MATCH. the kicker? the white stripe across their hip? narrows at the spinal column. beat that.

have a good weekend SDA tq for hearing my anecdotes and trivia. its common with autistics.
