When the Communists realized that their pet ideology wasn’t making the glorious headway they predicted it would in western countries (especially the U.S.), they came up with the race/colonial theory in order to exploit divisions within western society (especially the U.S.) and inject their oppressor/oppressed/revolution ideological framework (correctly to some degree, it’s been very successful in stirring up revolutionary thought and general malaise).
It doesn’t have to make sense because Communism doesn’t really make sense, as it is a stunted, blinkered view of human nature, but it appeals to greed, paranoia, and narcissism, and there it is very astute in observing human nature.
The tragedy of the commons has been a theme since time immemorial, certainly since well before Marx and Engels should have been killed as infants. Collectivism doesn’t work because of inchangeable human nature. This Cea Weaver is as stupid as she is ugly.
