  2. I’m not noticing any pattern, and while I think the officer in Bismarck ND had a moment in which he could have pulled the woman out of the vehicle, though I don’t think he should have had to. In this case it seems the woman would still be alive and suing for big bucks if she’d been pulled out, and can only guess there’s been court cases which have decided this already.

    I think the Bismarck ND officer acted appropriately.

    I think the recently in the news ICE officer in Minneapolis may have been aggressive with his defensive measures, but not criminally aggressive. When police of any type are yelling at you to do whatever it’s best to just lay low, not make quick movements, just sit still, don’t reach into your jacket to adjust your shirt… don’t attempt to use a vehicle as a weapon, etc…

      The vehicle not only came at him, but hit him, as Small Frye said.
      Yes, it is approved for a cop to use deadly force in such circumstances.
      She disobeyed all lawful orders, and ran, using the car as a potential weapon.
      Knife, car, baseball bat, gun. All, of used threateningly, are deadly weapons, AND, allow LEO to respond with deadly force, even if, not stabbed, not shot, not run into, or hit by bat.
      So much BS flying around, including that corrupt Ellison seething that he may lay charges. That will not be tolerated by the Fed government, who will have them dismissed outright.

    2. I always laugh when someone views a video and then says what could have been done……as Eisenhower once said to a reporter, “Farming looks might easy when you plow is a pencil and you are a thousand miles from the corn field.”

      This situation was cut and dried.

    3. marc, all effective defensive measures when facing a nutcase with a weapon, a car say, are aggressive, or should be because your life might depend on it.

      The saying “the best defence is a strong offence” applies in many different scenarios.

      1. I did say the officer’s defensive actions in Minneapolis weren’t criminal. I think the action is worth having ICE having a review of that situation, maybe the officer involved needs a week off or whatever, which is standard procedure when this sort of thing occurs.

    4. The attacker in Minnesota was at the head of a mob. She was trying to go through while her “wife” instigated a riot. The ICE agents were facing a mob, and on top of that the local police had declared themselves on the side of the mob – the ICE agents knew they were on their own.

      A mob is a deadly threat. A small group controls it by shooting the loudest instigator or instigators, or is beaten to death. Far as I’m concerned, soon as she disobeyed commands and her “wife” started yelling, the shoot was justified. That she tried to run over the officer is a second justification.

      2. The dead person in Minny, trained for disruption then sought out a location were she could preform her training. What happened was not a tragedy it was part of the play written and directed be the left. This is what Waltz and company wanted to happen, it’s the screenplay….they want to burn it all down. If this sacrifice tanks….they’ll search out another headliner and take the show on the road.
        For democrats…..it’s all theater.

    The Right to peaceful assembly for the purpose of protest is lawful in Common-Law countries. Using a motor vehicle as a weapon is not. Neither is interfering with law enforcement acting under lawful authority. Having imbibed some Cult. Marxist ideology, in this case T.D.S. , seems to be, aided and abetted, by the legacy presstitutes desperate to appear relevant rather than as ice-age dinosaurs.

  5. The DUI suspect had remarkably sober control of her Automobile-weapon. But since she was drunk off her ass … witness her lack of tough-girl inhibitions … she probably didn’t suffer much as the 3rd, 4th, and 5th bullets blew her skull to bits. Oh well … she chose … poorly.

    And judging by the smart ass smarmy sneer and uncontrolled laughter of the ‘Poet-mom’ … I’m assuming she smoked a big bowl for breakfast. She looked baked. Feeling no pain as her brain pan got shattered.

  6. Shoot them. You’ll get my vote. Imagine police let a drunk driver go because they resist arrest and then the driver plows down a group of kids walking home from school. Why do we tolerate this crap? Arrest the protestors who are interfering with the police. Clean up the streets. Quick before the Democrats get back into the White House. Then people will at least be able to recall the gold old days.

      I wouldn’t even need the gun pointed at me. There are thousand of videos out there right now (and more created every day) proving that police deal with hostile, ignorant and uninformed people during traffic stops every day. From people demanding to know why they were stopped despite being told several times (drunks do this a lot), to demanding a supervisor to attend, to claiming to know the laws better than the police, to ignoring the officers while they are on their cellphones calling their boyfriend/husband/mother/lawyer, etc, etc.

      The bottom line is that when police pull you over and ask for your licence and registration you MUST produce it; they don’t need to ask you eight or ten times, or wait for a supervisor or a lawyer to show up…those are stalling techniques, and they know it. If you really believe that the traffic stop is improper or illegal, that’s fine, you have legal recourse: THE COURTS. After the stop, not during it.

      Refuse to provide those documents and you *will* be dragged out of the vehicle and arrested, every single time. You may be hurt. You may even be killed. This will be YOUR FAULT if it happens.

      Also, screaming obscenities at the officers will not help you at all. Threatening to have them fired doesn’t work. Telling them you are pregnant or that you “can’t breathe” doesn’t work. Claiming to have a husband/uncle/brother who is a cop doesn’t work. COMPLIANCE works.

      I can’t count the number of simple traffic stops I have watched on those YouTube bodycam videos where someone is being stopped for a simple speeding or lane change violation and ends up being arrested because they simply don’t know how to behave like adults.
