2. I tried to find a clip of Billy Joel playing as the warm up act for The Eagles at the Berkeley Community Theatre that I attended on June 9, 1974. The closest I could find was this performance in Chicago March 1974.

   This is exactly what he looked and sounded like in mid 1974 when Piano Man had peaked as a song. But to see him perform it LIVE … just like this video … in the intimate confines of Berkeley Community Theatre … which was essentially the Berkeley HS auditorium … was beyond stupendous. We were all there to see the Eagles … but Joel STOLE the show. He played a superb but short set with additional tunes like Travelin Prayer and Captain Jack. The Crowd was still calling for more Joel encores 3-songs into the Eagles set.

   Check out the perps’ names at the end of the Toronto Sun article. Most of the corporate media coverage has censored the names. Surnames like “-Jones”, “Smith” and “MacDonald” are a tad underrepresented in the list. The 20 perps gave been immediately released on bail.

   1. We need a little bit more RICO in Canada. A large theft conspiracy should get ten to twenty years in prison depending on involvement. As it is, the worst cases will likely get 2 years in prison with possible release in 8 months. How the hell do you stop multi-million dollar conspiracies when the downside is an 8 month annoyance with the upside being millions waiting in an overseas bank account?
