Those 3 stooges can go on with their clever assessment till the cows come home.
I am surrounded by young men in my hood who have trades, homes, nice children and dogs, loving wives, and cool trucks.
These stooges, who sit at tables and allude to Jordan Peterson and academic shit, seemingly are out of touch with on the ground people.
I am retired, but I talk to the young family dudes in my hood, and they don’t map to what these 3 clever guys are purporting.
Oh, and I know about Peterson, and the other shit they allude to from academia (Dworkin, et al). Populist normal people don’t know or care about that shit. They just want a house, kids, a quad, and a nice dog.
Those 3 guys need to get out more and see that.
What can I say? The men in your neighborhood may not spend much time thinking about the plans of men far more wealthy and privileged than they could hope to be who consider everything they value—their houses, their cars, their wives, their children—to be resources to be expropriated, and the men themselves as problems to be solved.
Unfortunately, not being interested in the revolution never stops the revolution from being interested in you.
Did you now? He lost me when he started in on the “both sides are bad” angle.
Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice, as Barry Goldwater famously said, and moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.
It’s only the left who ever call any meaningful defense of liberty or pursuit of justice “terrorism,” not least because it invariably involves putting communists and criminals down like the vermin they are.
Terrorism, in general is a pastime of bored rich kids with more privileges than sense who, short of a catastrophe even their daddies’ money and connections can’t get them out of, never face real consequences for their actions. So they see no real problem with destroying their society and replacing it with something out of their Marxist pipedreams, because if it all ends in tears, they can always go into a comfortable exile in Canada or Europe, and let the poors live with the consequences. Right?
The actual working class and peasantry whom the left claim to represent never engage in terrorism. They have to, well, work. Only a small number of men among the working class have the courage to engage in resistance against communism, much less the resources.
This is why so many attempts by champagne socialists to turn countries into communist states were foiled by sons of peasants who had risen to high in the nation’s army by dint of merit and discipline, not nepotism.
And if the resistance is victorious, the first thing they do is make an example of any of the bloodsucking brats too stupid to realize that the game is over and to begone if life they value, because they can moan about “state terrorism” in Montreal or Madrid.
The people, meanwhile, invariably thank the generals for saving their country, and God for showing their country mercy.
Worth the listen….however…..he works hard at staying on the balance beem, near the end when he talks about reconciliation, and that you can’t have it without truth…..I ask
