Think about this, sheep, you come from a flock in tier 3 Canada, no one south of the border, even the woke left would bother to even consider anything that happens in your crap pasture. You will receive 0 coverage from even the lefty US media you don’t matter. Nothing about this failing shithole matters to anyone outside it.

      We had a grocery checkout clerk in Portugal ask us what we thought of out PM (Trudeau 2.0)
      In Morocco people asked if Trump was going to make a 51 state.
      I think its just the American media doesn’t care about north of the 49th. All the border states are aware a few miles south.

  5. I considered taking the ten minute drive to town to join the “No Kings: walkers and wankers street troop” but even though I kind of miss the Queen and am kinda indifferent to Chuck he’s not worth the drive to protest.

    I think I’ll go cut some of next year’s firewood instead.

  6. There’s a protest at the Vancouver Art Gallery? – Colour me shocked. As someone who’s always run the gauntlet of hippies with bullhorns at the VAG on my yearly visits…when isn’t there a protest?
    For a city that boasts an almost 50/50 split of European descent vs. Asian why is whitey always over represented at these piss and moan fests?
    Small wonder we’re viewed as lazy whiners.

Based on the activity on the map, I would guess that this is an anti-Trump gesture primarily but in typical Orwellian inversion, it is dominated by the leftist thugs and suicidal empaths against the now fascist, welfare/warfare, end-stage democracy states they’ve been responsible for creating and are now striving for a renewed feudalism (socialism) where they think they will comprise the nobility.

  10. I have a theory that the left has a subconscious desire to be seen as European.
    This theory explains their visceral dislike for anything American.
    It also explains Canadian anti-Americanism as a delusion that Canada is part of the Americas, and anything that recognizes that the American continent isn’t a collective of colonies makes them react angrily in response to somehow dispute this fact.

  11. To the No Kings protestors, how does the imprimatur of over 77 million voters (and more importantly 312 out of 538 electors) make any winner a King or Absolute Monarch, as they would have it?
    It’s typical leftist pettifoggery that will be swallowed by much of the demos .. sad for democracy.

    Just hypocrites of the highest order, that still don’t accept the election results of 2024.
    The irony that Trump is just enforcing EXISTING LAWS is not lost on his voters.
    If he was a King, wouldn’t he be decreeing, successfully, the end of the shutdown?
