  1. Kind of funny. We used to joke that the forthcoming ice age in the 70’s was caused by smog reflecting the sun’s rays back out into space that global warming was the effect of the earth’s temperature getting back on track. Looks like we now have science to back up what we figured out over beer a couple of decades ago.

  3. As I write at 6:30 PM pacific, it is 37 C or 98 F here in the Okanagan.
    A normal summer.
    History is context.

    We are in between ice ages, driven by the sun and deep time.

    Oh, and I love my AC.
    I will now recline in my temperate room and be thankful that I don’t live in Europe.
