I don’t know anybody who wants to be ruled from New York, Toronto is bad but New York would treat Canada like China treats Tibet. South Park is your clue as to what Americans think of Canadians. And a Yank who posts here doesn’t even know we have a bill of rights. Anyway, rights in a document don’t mean butkus if people don’t honour the concepts they enumerate. That’s the real problem, liberals in both countries don’t believe in free speech and want to impose their views on everybody. The only solution is to keep the away from power, documents can always be ignored or “interpreted” to suit. That is the same in America and in Canada.
