lve seen ‘belly flops’ on a failed dive into the water, you know, they fail to ‘spin’ enough or ‘open up too early’. BUT, whole diff ‘ball of wax’ doing a ‘belly flop’ onto SOLID CONCRETE
I watched the most recent trailer for “The Odyssey”, and the Spiderman kid (Holland) is talking to the Vampire guy (Pattison) and he says something like “My dad will return.” And, Pattison says some “daddy” joke. I hope that isn’t indicative of how they dumbed down and modernized the dialogue. The word “Dad” doesn’t fit Homer. “Father” fits Homer, but it disallows the snarkey “Daddy” response of Pattison. Just ignore the fact that it was 6,200 years later that the word “dad” was invented and used.
This will hopefully be the end of Nolan. Good riddance.
