  1. I guess that Liberals are incapable of thinking for themselves. They line up with the regime and echo talking points. There is no grace available, nor wisdom. Anyone that watches Lauren Southern’s body of work would not line her up with Russian collusion. And throwing mud is not a good tactic for a Liberal / NDP coalition that lies to their constituents on a daily basis, riddled with scandal – Cocaine Randy’s departure just a day or two ago fresh on the deck of the Titanic.

    2. Damoff was trying to smear and intimidate Southern because Lauren represents the uncontrolled replacement of her beloved in house CBC and its broadcast partisan corporate clones. Despite her party’s attempt to buy the media with taxpayer’s money, the monopoly of the legacy media has changed into a death march and she doesn’t like it.

  3. Damoff is doing what every Trudeau MP is paid to do: repeat his talking points without regard to evidence, logic, or simple human morality. Like all of the rest of them, she could be replaced with a first-gen AI chatbot at a significant savings to the taxpayer, and with fewer verbals stumbles and mispronunciations.

I agree with Lauren Southern – “not a fan of killing people”, but Ukraine “fooled around and found out!” I DO believe that Ukraine is just a proxy for NATO and the selling of war equipment/munitions. If I was the Russian president, I would be totally PO’ed that NATO was on my borders, after NATO expressly said it would not expand in the 1990’s. And yes, geopolitics does change over the decades, but Russia has been invaded at least twice (Napoleon and Nazi Germany) and has suffered tremendously in both invasions. I would be very paranoid as well.

    1. Are you aware that Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons for a security guarantee from the west? Are you aware that Putin has attacked many of his neighbours and that Ukraine wanted to join NATO as security against Russian aggression? Are you aware of the history of Russia and what its relationship with its neighbours has been? Are you aware that communists, mainly Russian were responsible for the death of a quarter of the Ukrainian population last century? Do you really think that the toothless west has any interest in invading Russia?

        Napoleon in 1812 …. 400,000 Russians dead.
        Germany in WW 1 … up to 3,000,000 Russians dead.
        Germany in WW 2 … 27,000,000 Russians dead.
        Are you aware that Russia had been fighting the Germans for 3 years before we the west joined the fight on D Day?
        Rusty are you aware that the west put Jupiter missiles in Turkey and Italy, prompting the Soviets to put missiles in Cuba? I had been taught that it was the evil Soviets that caused the Cuban missile crisis and not US stupidity that was at fault.

        Russia is far from perfect but it has issues which we, the west, are largely responsible for .

        1. And you are also aware of the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact where Germany and Russia brutally divided up Poland. The fact that Hitler stabbed Russia in the back does not ameliorate Russia’s crimes in Poland. And the Soviet Union was ever vocal about its mission to spread communism world wide by any means available. Truly an “evil empire”.

          Are you aware that between 39 and 41 soviet russia invaded six countries?
          Are you aware that Stalin killed more russians than Hitler?
          Are you aware that Stalin killed more people than Hitler?
          Are you aware that the reason Central European countries joined NATO is not to be invaded by russia again?
          Are you aware that Baltic States joined NATO in order not to be invaded by russia again?
          Are you aware that those Central European countries that did not join NATO have all fought wars defending themselves from russian occupation and now have russian troops on their soil?

          I’m sure all the soldiers, sailors and airmen who died defending France, Belgium, Netherlands, etc before the Germans took control of Europe would beg to differ. How about all the fatalities in North Africa? How about all the casualties of the allied aircrew before D Day. “Of the 125,000 Aircrew who served, 72% were killed, seriously injured or taken Prisoner of War. Why has the International Criminal Court in the Hague not sworn an arrest warrant for him? He has killed thousands of Ukrainian civilians in his pursuit of empire.
