    2. Our EU allies will soon be facing war on two fronts as the Danes, Brits, French et al defend Ukraine from Russia and Greenland from the US.
      Canadians, too, it looks like.

    Democrats (lets just call them what they are – COMMUNISTS) now control the legislature and Governor’s office in Virginia.

    Here are just a few of the bills they’ve introduced

    – New 4.3% sales tax on Uber Eats, Amazon, etc deliveries.
    – New sales tax on admissions to a wide variety of businesses.
    – Create two new higher tax brackets of 8% and 10% on people making over $600K.
    – A new 10% tax bracket for anyone making over $1M.
    – 3.8% investment tax on top of state income taxes.
    – Raise the hotel tax.
    – New personal property tax on landscaping equipment.
    – Ban gas powered leaf blowers.
    – Guarantee illegal aliens free education.

      1. Here in Illinois, Democrats exempt themselves and their donors from prohibitive tax rates and onerous regulations. The right lawyers at the right law offices (having current or former partners with government connections) insure that appeals boards grant exemptions in exchange for donations. Much of the IL GOP is just as corrupt or is impotent. Consequences are few and far between.

          1. We have to pay more to support the Pritzker-Johnson-Duckworth voting block of illegal aliens and generational welfare gangs. The Chicago Outfit was long ago replaced by Democrat politicians who skim all revenue streams, see MN.

    And I just read an old Rolling Stone article that pointed out Sly Stone’s first foray into rock/soul music came when he was 19yo in 1965 when he produced the Beau Brummell’s (San Mateo, CA) hit song Laugh, Laugh. Evidently, John Hughes liked the tune. Listen to the whole tune at great fidelity and you’ll hear just how musically talented Sly was. It’s a fabulous tune musically.
