      The site she points to, which is where I found “Amelia”, has more background, though it appears that Amelia is taking teh interwebz by storm. The site explains how a (pretty stupid) guvmint free-game-for-teenagers resulted in Amelia and some epic trolling:

      LOL…maybe. But for sure they are spending many man-hours and tens of thousands of pounds trying desperately to find the person responsible for creating this. I mean if the British government can actually jail someone for two months for ‘mean tweets’, what might they do to this person if they catch them? Two years?

  5. We truly are the architects of our various misfortunes. In this case, some slimy sleeze-balls in the UK government sought to make this game character a mild, but unlikable ‘racist’ who actively expresses her utter disdain for unfettered third-world replacement, and whom the player was to reject out of a woke sense of revulsion and horror. Turns out that the players like goth waifus far more than the woke dreck the game was intending to push upon them, and her character’s message resonated with the players far more than the intended ‘just lie back, and think of England’. The player base did the only rational thing they could do with more mind-numbing woke propaganda. They took the only salvageable bit they could find in that steaming coil of woke dogsh!t, rinsed all the sh!t off of it, and built an empire of memes around it. It warms my heart that this has blown up in UKgov’s face, and they’ve created a monster.

  7. While I would call this a step in the right direction, consider the fact that the creators didn’t feel comfortable to use a real, live, actual person in the video. This shows how successful the government and their various non-government agency advisors have been at cowing the public. As a result, this is more novelty than message. There is more entertainment than conviction. They aren’t willing to take that risk just yet.

    We see what’s going on in the UK from the outside. Those inside the UK are, not only, censored themselves; their media sources (televised and social) keep them purposefully uninformed. That’s why I was elated to see so many people participate in showing the flag. It was, finally, proof that the population of the UK was learning just how restricted they have become.

    I’ll wait to see real live people standing atop the barriers and not going away. I’ll wait to see them actually put their own faces out front and center in masses. Europe has always held a certain historical apathy and compliance….until they don’t. The switch in the past has been quick, brutal and bloody. I, both, look forward to, and fear that day, because the minute one country takes that plunge, others countries will follow suit.
