I know what the knife is for. For when his/her boyfriends wake up and see him/her next to them they can plunge it into their heart. Visions like that are the subject of nightmares.
I think we will see more of them in the future.

We used to have insane asylums for people like this. Then we got a book and film; “One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest” … and we learned that mental patients, such as this sad man, were really all gentle souls who needed to be freed. So we lost our appetite for protecting society from the lunatics on the grass, let alone lunatics on the internets, where we’ve turned them loose.
Seriously. Even the leftists of Pink Floyd knew their beloved band mate Syd Barrett was a danger to himself and others when they penned and performed “Brain Damage”, “Wish You Were Here”, and “Shine on You Crazy Diamond”. Syd was a mental patient who had to be tossed from the band. Now look how far we’ve regressed since the 1970’s … we’re actually platforming these loons.
We should be singing songs mourning the loss of people’s minds … not celebrating their “differences” … not platforming their insanity.
I’m confused. Was that a actually threat…and if so, to whom?
This guy should be institutionalized.
I actually moved my eyes away from David’s generous offer to have me creeped out like never before.
You know I’ve seen some things at Thompson Blog… as you all have, and you’d think my guard would be up, I’d have steeled my caution to be fully at the ready.
All to no avail.

Well, there’s crazy.
And there’s crazy but harmless, albeit usually annoying. They’re usually busy chasing imaginary butterflies around the park and like to tell people about it. You politely just suck it up and jolly them along or ignore those types.
Then there’s the crazy of this guy. They are the ones you expect to read about in the paper in the not-to-distant future, and it won’t be a happy, feel-good story. They need constant, close supervision while someone tries to fix that knocking under their hood.
The people who support and applaud that sort of crazy aren’t helping matters. They are making his crazy worse. Cut it out, dammit!
BTW … I just visited my own local Home Depot, and there was a crazy, angry, homeless man (black, not Hispanic like the hundreds of sketchy people usually prowling the parking lot). And he was screaming at customers and shoving a lumber cart into cars and people … customers and employees. The Home Depot employees just stood there saying he was insane and crazy … but doing nothing. The man was completely unhinged and looked quite dangerous. Yes, it’s getting CRAZY out here …
Just a regular Sunday at my local CA retailer. I think I’m gonna buy all my paint online from now on.
I do find ASMR videos relaxing. Some, at least. Some do nothing for me. I’ve been listening to them for over ten years, since a friend showed them to me.
