   I had a summer job at a franchise fast food restaurant, big name, especially popular in
   the summer. In the franchise contract was an option, to the effect, if the franchisee
   did something to bring their brand into disrepute. They could rescind that franchise
   and fast. The value of a franchise is proportionate to their name recognition and
   a stellar reputation.

   Risking being nicknamed “Barfton Pizza” isn’t going to cut it.
