  1. “Science” has become a blunt instrument by which skeptics and alleged unbelievers are bludgeoned into submission. Whenever Prinz Dummkopf cites it to justify whatever asinine stupidity he’s going to inflict upon us, it means about the same as when professional wrestlers use that term to describe their methods in the ring. (“I use a scientific method when I’m wresting!” In other words, you use improper holds and techniques, such as eye-gouging, when the referee isn’t looking.)

    1. It’s not hard to show him up with actual science, though.

Make him prove his assertions on the spot.

Justin can’t even tell you his name without screwing it up. Imagine his admitting that gravity is a real thing.

      1. Make him prove his assertions on the spot.

He doesn’t have to. All he has to say is “follow the science” and all opposition collapses.

But what would he know about such things. He dropped out of engineering school, didn’t he? Then again, he must have learned enough to know that it’s convenient for him to cozy up to SNC Lavalin.

          1. What I should have said is the term used at my alma mater: he was given a “dean’s vacation”.

        1. Au contraire.

Do you remember when someone asked him what he does personally to reduce waste in his home and we got the slurry “drink box thingy”?

          That’s all it takes.

      2. My favourite quote from the Prime Imbecile
” I don’t sit around thinking about Pi to the 19th decibel”
        or something similiar.
Bring back the hammer and the idiot trying to hit the nail.
        PURE COMEDY GOLD!!!!

  2. If it don’t follow the government narrative(big funding initiatives), it’s ignored, or disgraced or destroyed, depending on the severity to the government global initiatives plans.
Citizens and smart ideas, need not apply as this concerns YOU.
You need to be qualified by our government to work in Canada…pick a job and see what government certificates or degrees that you need but wasn’t used decades ago.
And the funding that we steal and give away to idiot causes.

  3. So what the crazies are saying, basically, is that because science is mostly a white thing, and since all whites are bad evil mean racists ( according to the crazies ) , then we must now get rid of science and go back to medieval or better yet, caveman superstitions to explain the world around us.

If you throw a virgin down a volcano every 6 months and the volcano remains inactive, then it means throwing virgins into volcanoes appeases the volcanoes.

If the volcano erupts, it means you must trhow virgins more often down the volcano.

If despite a high number of virgins thrown down the volcano it still erupts, then maybe you killed too many rabbits, and the god of forest animal is angry, or maybe you ate too many fish from the lake and the god of the lake is angry and is letting you know by making the volcano erupt.

The woke left and BLM-blacks ( not all blacks approve of BLM , thank God ! ) want us to reject science, math and everything white and go back to a primitive unscientific way of doing things.

Actually we are already slowly going trough this process…the “woke” left, has begun taking us back towards more primitive, more barbaric and less scientific ways of doing things of understanding things.

Reducing the number of police officers to reduce crime ( to give one example ) follows the same primitive unscientific ( and unintelligent ) ” reasoning” as throwing virgins into volcanoes does.

Western civilization peaked a few years ago, we are now going down or going in reverse towards a new dark age.

Forget our technology, it is a not a measure of how civilized humans are,

if “smart” phones and other very advanced devices made people more smart, we would not have the dumbest generation this continent has seen in over a 100 years and we would not have college and university educated young people telling us that math is racist.

Humans today, mostly those under 30 , are dumber today than humans were 50 or 100 years ago.

    One last thing

if migrants from Africa, the Middle east, and from other such places are our greatest strength, then why are they not the greatest strength in their nations and why are their nations not the greatest???

    1. Just from my own observations from a person who judges a person by his actions and personality and not by color.
I’ve met many butt holes and had thought that something was wrong with my thinking.
      Any who…
I’ve found that people of darker skin have an extremely difficult time with the COLD in Canada and they find it painful.
Being climatized to the cold was how I grew up which allowed me to fish, trap and hunt.
I’ve noticed that many will not venture out in this Canadian Climate unless absolutely necessary.
Snuggling to be warm as our cold weather invades.
Not many winter athletes are in the snow of the darker persuasion.

I suspect that that is the true cause as to why Canada isn’t flooded with immigrants even though our politicians try so desperately hard to change the racism of whites…

    2. You’re exactly right.

I’m struggling to come up with a word for the opposite of evolution.

  4. It’s funny, all the references to science. What you’re actually describing is academia. The scientific process isn’t limited to peer reviewed studies.

But that is *exactly* what Kate alludes to when she makes posts like “the sound of settled science”.

    1. in other words you did not read a syllable of the article Kate provided a link to

      1. you did not read a syllable

You’re being generous. He’s illiterate and the article didn’t have lots of pictures that he could colour in.

      2. Actually, I was going meta. I did read the link, thank you. But I wasn’t commenting on the link, but rather to the overall attitude towards science.

  5. Yes Allan. We also need to make room for people’s feelings in the process as well.
Plus there’s no room for haterz in science either.

  6. lm autistic.
this was not even a known thing util l was over 50.
l learned to trust numbers, provable factual information, reliable theories and explanations, repeated patterns of behaviour and response in people and apparatus alike.

l was also ostracized most of my life and thus marshalled my encyclopedic memory of ‘what works’ and analytical skills to come up with new methodologies because l was labelled the idiot and ot worth training in the orthodoxy.

well lookie lookie 2022; lm retired early having ACED a career in IT, fundamentally because I *think like a computer*. what passes now for common sense, social standards, truth, education, justice, well, see for yourself. l really doubt l would have survived now, being notorious we auties are for instance, blurting things out when we see danger or inefficiencies, UNFILTERED as they must be now in the hypersensitive narcissist age.

gawd help you youngsters. fight it or it can drive you to suicide.

and keep me out of it.

      1. uh no, but since his candid very publicized announcement on SNL l thank the man for blowing all the discrimination and prejudices clean into space.
see how l did that? ha ha ha!!! auties we got razor sharp humour because linking things and spotting the central message is key to our survival and success. we do get good at it.

        1. I too thought that was awesome. What opened my eyes was the movie Temple Grandin. After that, I started recognizing it a bit more. The overall message of the movie was great.

    1. Your problem is you don’t know what privilege is. Did you ever try wearing a dress?

  7. Science has always been beholding to power.. The true breakthroughs came from smart individuals (true 1%ers) working with what they had to make things better.. Trial and error guided by truth.. Amazing what hairless monkey’s can do in the light of day.. Measurable progress that had a impact on our lives.. We put this cool stuff in library’s and then we needed smart people to organize and explain it all to us..

Enter the University where the latter took over from the former.. Science is simply the truth under certain circumstances.. A university is certain circumstances policing the truth.. Mission creep and all that.. No surprise that the first Universities came from the same place that spawned communism, Germany.. That’s old news..

Today with most of the easy discoveries already lifted from nature our? science has hit a bit of a wall.. While I’m sure real science is happening none of it is suited to improve our lives.. So they do the next best thing and play with politics.. The educational industrial complex is just as dangerous as the military industrial complex..

They are both very similar in their goals to control people.. Without proper oversight they will destroy us..

  8. There should have been a warning about a long read, and get a bottle of scotch.

    1. Some intoxicant required, for damn sure. That was the most gruesome thing I’ve read in 25 years.

I’m staying with the white man’s gravity.

    1. Get Prinz Dummkopf to do it for you. He is this country’s quantum computing expert, after all.

  9. Critical Social Justice is the blathering of parasites who have nothing useful to contribute to society, know it, try to cover it up with pseudo-academic verbiage attacking the people who actually produce something worthwhile, and having done so expect a pay cheque for it so they can come home at night, flick the switch and still have the lights and the TV come on.
