  1. Jason Kenney has never worked a real job in his life, and it shows. Yes, this is the end of his career.

    1. Perhaps my math is off but are they including 60.7% of the total population fully vaccinated (if there is such thing) with the 67.6% partially vaccinated?

      Am I missing something?

  2. Kenney was told off by his globalist masters, just like every politician in this damned country, and is now obeying orders.

    1. …..or Said globaist masters (or the Chicoms right..??), have told him, DO THIS or see one of your kids with a 9mm hole in its head.

      COERCION is a powerful thing.
I put Absolutely SWEET FK ALL past those orchestrating this attempted Global Coup de etat…..nothing in my estimation is “OFF the TABLE”. It wasn’t the Case in Germany during the 1930’s & 40’s either.

Don’t forget that Federal RFQ for Internment KAMPFS folks…..

  3. Before declaring a “state of public health emergency” Kenney might want to consider alternative methods of attacking the problem given that previous efforts have obviously failed.

Something like reviewing successful responses from around the world, perhaps reviewing what poorer countries have done so successfully-amongst them Peru, Zimbabwe, India,-implement IVERMECTIN as a prophylactic at next to nothing cost and with absolutely minimal negative health outcomes.

The quality of our public health advice and our politicians is absolutely abysmal.

    1. Exactly,
Where is the Ivermectin, HCQ, etc?
      This is criminal behavior.
There is no need for this 4th wave, it could be nipped at the bud.
Fucking amateurs at best running things or at worst premeditated murder and fear mongering.

  4. I can’t help but feel sorry for Kenney. If he would have emphasized personal responsibility and freedom from the very beginning, he would look much better. Once the lockdowns/rules started, he couldn’t back up anymore. It is extremely difficult to un-scare people. He is also hampered by a medical system that can’t respond to market demands, because it is socialized.

    1. He is also hampered by a medical system that can’t respond to market demands

Worse still, it’s a government monopoly system that IS INCENTIVIZED to create scarcity, and gin up public panic.

What could go wrong with bureaucrats in charge?

    2. Do not let Kenney off the hook with bullshit excuses.

      He could end it tomorrow

Kenney is and always has been a progressive.

This was always the plan. From day 1

  5. Jason Kenny, Rachel Notley (supposed opposition and Dipper; “not for the people”) and the AHS managers are responsible for this “medical emergency”. They gave themselves nice pay raises while telling the frontline staff they were getting a reduction. Then AHS issues the mandatory vaccination edict. Frontline staff are resigning in droves. The “emergency” is the understaffing not COVID. But the corrupt bought-and-paid-for MSM won’t tell you that.

Also, hospitals sent patients home in order to dedicate floors and wards to COVID cases. ICU’s are always full, nothing to do with COVID. The dedicated COVID floors and wards are underutilised.

This is a government caused problem and the government responds by locking us down. Typical government incompetence.

    1. They killed all the old folks in Quebec and New York state by rank dereliction of duty and criminal neglect. Because it was easy to do, and there’d be no consequences for them. They needed to gin up the panic with inflated mortality numbers. Now the public coroner in Quebec is actually admitting it.

They LIED about all the overrun hospitals and chaos.

I saw a podcaster livestream a year ago from the so-called hospital “epicentre” of the covid crisis in NYC and there was NOTHING going on. The ambulance drivers were out of their vehicles smoking all day with nothing to do. Meanwhile the military had been brought in to keep everyone OUT of the hospital. Because they’d see for themselves there was NOTHING going on inside. When a doctor or nurse exited the building and was accosted by the podcaster, he/she refused to answer ANY of his questions. And then the soldiers would get in his face.

None of these subterfuges were necessary during the world’s last authentic pandemic in 1919. Because THAT was real.

      1. But hey, let’s borrow billions on the taxpayers’ credit and give it to Pfizer and the other members of the criminal pharma cartel, and force people to take experimental shots. Just because we can.

It is “fun” to be a psychopath.

    2. MIKE T

      100% NAILED it.

As has been suggested prior. if 100% of Albertas Nurses & Doctors said NOPE and walked out this shitshow would be over in 24 hours.

  6. They just sent out an emergency broadcast about their self-inflicted “emergency”

This government is nothing but a bunch of pathetic tyrants.

    1. Fear and anxiety disorders are the number two Covid co-morbidity, according the CDC.

The fact that everything they do is to gin up fear and anxiety is a pretty good indicator that they’re only trying to prolong and worsen this disaster.

  7. So in Canada, you can’t get a doctor to prescribe Ivermectin or HCQ but they will happily perform euthanasia.

    1. Ain’t that the truth! Medical murder is sanctioned but saving lives with cheap off-label use drugs like Ivermectin or Hydrochloriquine is verboten. We need the Nuremberg II trials to begin!

    2. Euthanasia is even cheaper than invermectin. And if you’re retired it gets you off the government payroll.

  8. I wonder if kenny changed the oil rail cars over to cattle cars that notley ordered?
for the gathering up of the unvaxed?
    1930’s germany anyone?

  9. No, Alberta is not panicking, Kenny and his government are panicking. And it’s not a crisis of the unvaccinated, rather a crisis of government controlled healthcare right across the country.

    1. Trot out the concerned looking doctors all staring into the camera and intoning that “never in all my years of practice have I seen ICUs spilling out into day wards as they are now”.

There is no way we are ever going to get an independent and comprehensive audit of what has been going on in government bureaucrat run hospitals. So we will never know what the truth is.

But I can never accept on face value something that cannot be verified from sources that have every financial incentive to misrepresent the facts.

Government medical bureaucrats have always ensured ICUs are always at capacity, and they always reduce their number when they want to create a crisis to extract more money from their political masters.

Since overall mortality rates are NOT higher, one can assume people being treated for the covid are testing false positive with improper use of the PCR test, and are really pneumonia/influenza patients with co-morbidities that in the past were not treated in an ICU but rather in a palliative care centre, where the doctors customarily administer anti-psychotic drugs to induce coma. And then reduce fluids to “allow” the patient to die from dehydration. It’s murder, and it’s also standard practice in current “medical care”.

My self-defence protocol: don’t trust doctors, don’t believe doctors, don’t put yourself in their care, unless you really, really have to. As for medical bureaucrats, don’t EVER believe a word they say. EVER.

      1. In Helena Montana in 1995 I contracted viral pneumonia. I started having trouble breathing and my wife took me to the hospital. There the ICU were spilling out into the wards – and the hallways. I had a “small world” moment when the doctor knew my wife from his residency in Maine. They gave me drugs and made sure my wife had the right equipment, then decided to send me home because my wife is an EMT and promised to monitor me 24/7. Hospitals all over Montana were swamped.

There were no lockdowns. No mandates. No masks. People were told to act responsibly. They did. Buffets closed voluntarily. Businesses and schools took precautions. Anyone with the slightest sniffle stayed home. Within a week the situation was manageable, in two weeks it was history.

These tinpot dictators act like there’s never been an epidemic before.

        1. As a medic and my wife a ER nurse. The tick up in ER visits comes from one reason only.
CV has everyone scared because of the MSN and the W/H. Even if they have had the shot or not.

          Just plain nuts.

  10. Psychopaths are really good at lying. They will say or do whatever they need to do to obtain power/control. They are very convincing.

    https://www.businessinsider.com/professions-with-the-most-psychopaths-2018-5?op=1#10-civil-servant-1

Psychopaths have something called a “resilience to chaos.” This doesn’t just mean they keep a cool head under stress — they also sometimes create havoc for everyone else, because it makes them look good when everyone around them is struggling. Some psychopaths may use this method to climb the career ladder all the way to the top.

One study, published in the journal The Bulletin of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, sought to find out whether surgeons really were likely to be psychopaths. Results showed that consultants at teaching hospitals scored higher on a scale of psychopathic personality than district general hospital consultants, who scored higher than the general population. Possible reasons the authors give in their discussion is that “stress immunity is the overriding personality trait of doctors,” and the fact surgeons have to make quick, difficult decisions every day.

Being a civil servant is the 10th most popular career choice for psychopaths, according to Dutton. In fact, in 2014, UK Government officials considered recruiting psychopaths specifically “to keep order,” because they are “very good in crises” and have “no feelings for others, nor moral code, and tend to be very intelligent and logical.”

  11. If numbers of dead, were the criteria, maybe we should look at the health services of Canada.
They kill something like 30 000 Canadians every year through medical mistakes…
Covid has yet to come close.
These same intellects insist 25 000 Canadians die from “The effects of smoking” each year..
And government licensed drivers kill another? few tens of thousands..
So death rate only matters when relating to covid?

    1. A very rough rule of thumb is 1% of the total population dies off every year. In Canada, that’s around 380,000 per year. Most of those deaths would be due to “natural causes”.

For very old people, the most common natural cause is pneumonia, (the “old man’s friend”), or the flu. Today, cause of death is being “generously” attributed to Covid in cases where the deceased is tested post mortem with a pcr test run at inappropriately high cycles to obtain a desired (false) positive result. And there’s your “covid death”. The doctor and hospital are now rewarded with another covid cash bounty from the government.

Most normal people don’t think and have never thought about these numbers. So when they sit in front of the idiot box every night and are told by the teleprompt reader that “another nnn number of Canadians have died today from Covid”, their natural response is “Oh my God! It’s the Apocalypse!”

Of course, overall mortalities are NOT higher for the past 24 months around the world. In fact, they were slightly down in some countries, because fewer people overall have negative interactions with the medical profession, which to your point, John, is a rich source of morbidity.

Another factor is Canada’s aging population. With our massive annual intakes of foreigners, and with the Trudeau-era family reunification policy, Canada takes in a huge number of older people every year. By all rights, our mortality rate should be increasing sharply with so many more older people in the country every year.

      1. because fewer people overall have negative interactions with the medical profession

Erratum: because people overall have had fewer interactions with the medical profession in the past 24 months, meaning they’ve had fewer opportunities to experience negative outcomes.

      2. According to stats cans numbers, averaged out for a year, 823 people die everyday from all causes in Canada. The whu who flu has not increased that number.
