Not only would I never take a child or grandchild to such an event, but every man I know, including gays (sorry, I have not learned all the nuanced letters) whom I worked with, would seriously question such an action. I can think of a long list of things to do with children that would be more educational and fun than visiting library drag queen hours. Buy a well-bred puppie and read to your kid in the park, for starters …
