  1. That’s cause all the media/entertainment companies rely on Chinese audiences and Chinese investments to make money. But it can’t matter that much cause I don’t think the people who run all these companies and make all the shows and produce all the news have STEM degrees, so we probably shouldn’t worry about it and instead focus on funding more PACs for Torys and Republicans to get elected and making sure little Johnny is good at math. Maybe create some more conservative new aggregator websites or think tanks.

  2. On a local note, don’t criticize dear Bonnie Nazi. She is just SO SWEET. That means she’s smart, to the Low Infos. Otherwise, the media dubs you a Conspiracy Theorist, daring to question Government DOGMA!

    2. Did you know that during a 2015 arbitration hearing brought by the BC Nurses Union against the Ministry of Health, Bonnie Bullshit was forced to concede that there was no science supporting the dogma that masks help prevent the spread of respiratory viruses?

        1. She fought against masks for the longest time, and during that period, the infection rates went DOWN.
          Then she was for them along with lockdowns.
          Despite these extra measures, infection rates remain high.
          Lockdowns don’t work
          Masks don’t work.

        1. Well go figure. So it’s just another flu….Why am I NOT surprised. Personally, I know of nobody that has had, or has died, from this “flu”. When I go in to a business/store, it’s their business, and their choice about asking or insisting customers wear a mask. If they require a mask, and I require something from that business or store I wear the mask, and remove it as soon as I leave. Elsewhere, I refuse to wear a mask, and actually get a kick out of the idiots that back away or react to avoid getting near me when I am mask-less. I have had precisely one negative comment from a Ken, about not having a mask on. When I replied, “I don’t give a shit”, he was at a loss for words and went on his way mumbling. I see all of this as a deliberate coordinated attempt by Libs and Dems, politicians, petty tyrants, and the Bonnie Henry’s/Fauci’s to condition us to the new planned great reset. They are either in the know and are complicit, or are stupid and following the progressive edicts because they don’t know any better. Either way, we are in for a very dark future that I see lasting years, perhaps decades.
          Unfortunately, us peasant people can do very little to change things either.

          We are being screwed by them, and due to our own apathy we have only ourselves to blame. We are now way past the point of no return. All we can do is hang on and endure the ride, which will not be fun.

    1. The interesting thing about that is, it has happened before.
      Early in the second half of the 20th century, this exact thing happened that the guy is talking about.
      I was a kid there and every citizen knew what was happening. People died for thinking wrong think.
      My father was cancelled from government ministry for not being sufficiently reeducated.
      Funny thing is, well not funny in haha way. Working in a communist government he had to be one, the problem of course was that he went to church every Sunday. He would go around the country and do seminars on how to work in the system. He was educated in a free enterprise and wanted to save what he could for normal thinking. Did not work, he was cancelled and could not find a job in a system that makes you work otherwise you were a parasite subject to punishment. He eventually got a job picking dead animals from collective farms.
      Of course, they knew what they were doing and probably did not want to. In the whirlwind of socialist/communist madness nobody was safe. Eventually when they came to their senses, some 15 or so years later, they apologized and gave him a job that could use his knowledge.
      The thing that is so maddening is that nobody believes that and think that the guy is off the deep end, can tell you that it is off just short years, perhaps months. If you’re interested in the affairs of men, you may have already noticed that it’s happening now.

    We “voted” our way into dictatorship if you believe the US 2020 election was fair and that Elections Canada isn’t a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Liberal Party.

    But it looks like we’ll have to wait 75 years until it collapses like the Soviet Union.

    1. I’m thinking a generation, some 30 years plus minus.
      The drawback is that the population is good with it. Once the free stuff stops and taxes will eat your paycheck, the mayhem will start.

      Just to be sure in case some socialists bring Sweden as an example. Sweden is altogether different set of circumstances. Its a democracy, the population is very well educated, they agreed to high taxes in exchange for free stuff, it also is a free enterprise system and modified the system when they eventually found out that it was killing the economy.
      Until recently it was populated only by Swedes.

      1. lev, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark are all hybrids, which supports your contention. I know I’v been over there a few times, and there is less government intrusion into your life in Finland then there is here in Kanucistan!

  9. GYM – how do the small countries you mention make “it” work when nay sayers say Alberta ( 4 Million citizens) wont be able to make “it” work if we have the gonads to split from Canuckistan??
    And…..by the Way…..how many health ministers know jack shyte about medicine. Note….the Fed Minister Hadju ….is a graphic designer and probably just as useless at that as she is in her present ” position”.
