  1. If our economy grew like that of the U. S., Prinz Dummkopf would be scared that the rest of the world might think we were Americans. But this is Canada, so we have to be “distinct”.

  2. Yes but Great Leader has promised us all those new green recovery jobs. Everyone will have exciting new careers installing solar panels and washing electric cars for rich people.

  3. On the FOX News web page: “Prime time news shows ignore historic U.S. economic rebound”. The corrupt media cartel are suppressing the good news south of the border.

  4. Look, it is a well-established fact in business circles, that if you are of an entrepreneurial spirit, and are super bright and talented, you only invest in Canada for one of two reasons: you think you can still sell raw resources and commodities at high enough prices to enable you to absorb the bribes you have to pay to Liberals and their ChiComm pals, or because you are yourself a well-heeled Liberal or one of their ChiComm pals.

Everyone else who has talent either leaves for the US, or fetches up in a dead-end job, and just punches the ticket at a bare minimum, enough to support a golfing, RVing, and skiing lifestyle.

Canada: where energy, passion, and great ideas go to die.

  5. Of course the Americans might flush it all down the toilet – aided by voter fraud – on Tuesday.

  6. Canadians want poverty.

    They voted for it. Twice.

When Trump wins on Tuesday, Canadians can boast about their poverty to the Americans across the way.

    Who would not envy that?

  7. Of course it’s only natural to hate your betters. We’re used to the hate from the North as well as the East, West and South. Being American is such a burden but one we bear as the price of our greatness as a country. Good luck to you and with your indigenous and franco-cidal factions. Looks like fun!

  8. So while our economy is in the toilet, thousands of Canadians out of work, and in the middle of the Chinese pandemic, Angry Adolf is planning on bringing in over a million Liberal voters from Somalia and Pakistan the next three years.

  9. The same lying whiners who bleat US GDP is down 3.2% over the last twelve months leave out two things:
    1. It’s the best record of the G7, and
    2. Canada’s decline is nearly double the US.

  10. I don’t understand how the Canadian dollar is still holding up with the massive difference in our economies.

    1. I’m wondering that too. I just got my CCP $$ for October (lived/worked in Ontario for many years). I get it already changed to US dollars. The amount was as high as it’s ever been. Started collecting it three years ago.

  11. I cannot imagine what it is like to like in a locked down society. Here in Florida, the first few days were interesting, with everything deserted. I took a ride just to photograph the empty interstate. Critically, no one was there to stop me or question me. So I never experienced a single day where my liberty was infringed. Our little electronic repair business rightfully declared ourselves essential and I didn’t miss a single day of work. While many businesses did close, the essential things were open, and aside from the crazy run on toilet paper, I had no difficulty getting what I needed. Meanwhile I was enjoying the reduced traffic on my commutes. I was able to continue to travel for work, and was even able to go to Canada after clearing some red tape. Everything was closed there so it wasn’t a fun trip, but I was able to complete the job.
Fast forward to today. Traffic is back 100% in Florida. Everything is open. Restaurants are allowed to seat to capacity, and customers are slowly tricking back in.
I still haven’t met an actual virus vixtim.

  12. Apples and oranges, comparing one month to a one-quarter of a year. But, hey, no one expects accuracy here.
