      Many years ago, I was on the mailing list of a publication produced by the old Department of Supply and Services, the name of which I’ve long forgotten. It was a listing of who was given government funding (mainly contracts, as I recall), what it was for, how much, and which government department was responsible.

      I don’t remember many of the details, but a lot of money was given out for some flaky stuff back then, along the lines of feminist “studies” and environmental projects, stuff that PET would have likely agreed to.

    I know someone who was looking at a 100K of earnings backstage in the entertainment industry. Will anyone even be allowed to go to a show or concert this year? Lost wages is lost wealth. It cannot be made back.
    How many are suffering due to elective surgeries being postponed?
    How many families have been severed?
    Small businesses? How many will be shuttered? People’s independence hard work and dreams crushed.
    How many jobs lost permanently?
    How many will have to work many more years than planned before retiring while their health begins to fail?
    And then there is the massive debt. Who is going to pay?
    What about evictions and car repos?

    Look to Blackie and the Corrupt Liberals to severely increase immigration to prop up the Ponzi housing scheme and continue the evil whitey displacement program. Who would call this sane?

    But the government workers are all shitting in tall cotton while their unions are preparing to demand pay and pension increases due to the inflation that they know is coming.

    3. The lock down was and is a crime against Canadians and all other citizens of countries where it happened. The severity of this virus was criminally over estimated.

    Go through the list of banned makes and models. Take note of the manufacturers.
    Write a letter to each of the manufacturers and press them into banning sales of complete firearms, receivers, receiver blanks, barrels, and all parts to Canada’s military, RCMP, and provincial and municipal police forces, until the federal government overturns the ban. Duplicate the contents of your letter via email and/or “contact us” online form.

The current Canadian government opposes these principles. Since Canada has such close economic and political relationships with the US, her political decisions stand to affect those at home, and the end result will be catastrophic for the American people, sooner or later.

    2. There are about 3 million firearms owners in Canada. There are about 300 thousand members in the Liberal Party of Canada (LPC). How about asking all firearms owners to join the LPC? That would change the LPC in the most fundamental way. What fun and games we could have?

      Firearms owners would have the largest block of votes in the determining LPC policies. They would also be able to determine who is elected to stand as a candidate in every riding across Canada. Not only that, you can make sure that you fund other political parties and not give a red cent to the LPC. Consider the possibilities. Gun owners could vote to have firearms legislation completely overhauled. Legislation that governs firearm ownership could be removed from the Criminal Code of Canada. And that my friends is just a start.

      If gun owners want to make a difference this is one way they can.

      Over at the gun forum canadiangunnutz a suggestion was made Gun Clubs should refuse RCMP and other Federal agencies access to gun ranges.
      It was pointed out RCMP in Ontario are allowed to go to any gravel pit or even a farmers field / personal property to practice without compensation. So Restricted handguns, carbines and prohibited weapons like the C8 with a fire selector switch allowing for automatic fire are allowed to be discharged in a non-range setting…..

Lohengrin is about Parsifal’s son and Parsifal is actually mentioned when Lohengrin finally reveals his identity in the last act. But the story of Parsifal is also based on a work by Wolfram von Eschenbach, who himself is a character in Tannhäuser.

      By the way, Parsifal was one of the roles sung by Canadian tenor Jon Vickers.
