Warren Kinsella's Daisy Group consulting firm was behind a social media campaign to put the People's Party of Canada (PPC) on the defensive and keep leader Maxime Bernier out of the federal leaders' debates, according to documents provided to CBC News. The documents outline the work done by several employees of Daisy on behalf of an unnamed client. A source with knowledge of the project told CBC News that client was the Conservative Party of Canada. The plan was first reported Friday night by the Globe and Mail.

CPC loyalists who think Max and the PPC are draining votes away from them don’t seem to realize that most of the PPC voters had already tuned out the CPC in 2015, when they either stayed home or voted Libertarian or perhaps CHP in some cases. These are not votes the party can get back until it reforms its operations and boots out the globalists.
Scheer can alienate voters all by himself without any help from Max Bernier. Anyone with half a political brain could see that a half decent leader would be decimating Justin Trudeau, a guy with basically no real accomplishments and two major errors in political judgement that should have run him out of town.
The CPC leadership contest appeared to be rigged and Max was right to leave the party. It had become nothing more than a lobby group for a few powerful corporate interests that have nothing much to do with actual conservatism. The PPC is a legitimate attempt to restart that option but much will depend on its response to what seems inevitably likely to be electoral oblivion this first time round.
A good friend got me started today looking into past history. Reform got 2% of the vote and no seats in 1988. They won a byelection mid-term and then won 52 seats in 1993, almost as many as the Bloc. Then they improved to 60 in 1997 and became the opposition. They improved further to 66 under Stockwell Day in 2000 (now as the Alliance) despite the dinosaur slurs etc. They did all that with no essential change in the PC vote from 1993 to 2000 which was not decimated, it remained around 19%. Then they had the leading hand in the party merger in 2003-04, and from that point on, the insiders have reclaimed the party and frozen out the rank and file true conservative base. People have held their nose each time and voted for increasingly worsening policies that more and more have come to resemble the Liberal platform.
The CPC is now nothing more than a Liberal B team, dressed in blue instead of red. They don’t deserve your vote, unless you want to be abused one more time. Stand up for yourself and vote for a real conservative on Monday.

So the CBC actually earned it’s yearly stipend and maybe gets to wet it’s beak from the $600 million by releasing that little story. The question is, do you believe them or maybe it’s a nice psych ops bomb dropped in just enough time to really destroy any chance of a non Liberal party ever getting elected.
It’s crucial this election to vote for the party that will pull enough votes put an end to the arrogant incompetence of the Trudeau cabal. There is but one choice, a vote for any of the others will not do it. If we end up with a Liberal minority and NDP coalition we are in for a real mess the likes of which we can’t even imagine beyond being our worst nightmare.
