The Justice Department said Mueller delivered his final report to Attorney General William Barr and officially concluded his probe of Russian election interference and possible coordination with Trump associates. The report will now be reviewed by Barr, who has said he will write his own account communicating Mueller’s findings to Congress and the American public.
 
Barr said he could release his account to Congress as soon as this weekend.

A senior Justice Department official has told CBS News that Mueller is not recommending any further indictments. The Justice Department also confirmed that the “principal conclusions” of the report will be made public.

    Barr put an extension on his “resigning.” The conventional wisdom was that he would have to clean up the mess before a new person took the position so that new person wouldn’t have the “headaches” associated with it. That wasn’t the primary reason, however.

    The real basis for his extension was because the Dems are going to push for hearings to question all the participants in the Special Investigation. Had Rosenstein had a private citizen status, he would likely take the 5th or used the ignorance defense. But, as a still employed government employee…nope. He’s going to end up perjuring himself, or totally discounting the entire sham. No, sir. I wouldn’t want to be him right about now.

    3. I have previously read that. And note that they know very well Congress WON’T issue any such subpoenas. And they do not have enough honor to put the truth out there WITHOUT subpoenas. But then what else would one expect from “Law Enforcement” in the United States, since one of the criteria for getting selected is that one must be a Rove Republican, will all character traits of same:

      No morals.
      No principles.
      No scruples.
      No honor.

      The agents who interviewed Manafort initially said he did NOT lie to them. But they conveniently did not do anything to rebut their Agency’s lies which now have Mr. Manafort sentenced to jail.

    So trying to dig up dirt on Trump is “journalism.”
    Releasing the facts about Clinton is “hijacking the election.”

    Trump, Jr. testified for hours and hours before Congress, including about the Trump Tower meeting. If he lied there, or to Mueller, why didn’t Mueller indict him for perjury, lying to Congress or obstruction? Same questions for Kushner. Stop embarrassing yourselves.
