  3. I remember the statistic back in the day when anyone could buy a machine gun legally – not that long ago. No crime had ever been committed with a legally registered machine gun. Thousands likely still own machine guns and still not one crime. To prevent murder with guns – license ethnic kids

    1. I think criminals are hardly ever charged with possession of an illegal firearm. And if convicted, a liberal minded judge will give them a concurrent sentence. So the left gives criminals an incentive to use illegal guns.

    1. Does he care? – of course not. The handgun ban is about three things only:

      1) The public screamed “DO SOMETHING!” so he is – it won’t help, but none of his other efforts did either, and we keep voting Liberal.

      2) pandering for votes in Toronto and Quebec, and

      3) Paul Martin tried it – so it’s now a Liberal platform, and Wendy Cukier demands it, and they’ll keep at it until they succeed.

      Canadians’ property rights? Targeting violent criminals instead of law-abiding Canadians? Telling the truth? – PAH! None of these matter to him, so none of these matter.

  9. Trudeau is going to ban handguns,we have known this for months.I hope to hell legal handgun owners are making preparations to dispose of their guns before the RCMP or other cops kick down their doors and take them, to be added to the private collections of the cops.

    Once this law is passed don’t expect a nice friendly phone call asking for you to bring your guns down to the police station, rather expect a SWAT team at your door and if you are politically active, expect it to happen at 3 AM. And don’t anyone try to be a hero, or 25 heavily armed cops will murder you and possibly your whole family if you do anything more than grovel face down in the dirt. Collateral damage,y’know.

    As a legal weapon owner I know a little, but I’m no expert.
    In my humble opinion, a shotgun is the scariest beast around.
    That Toronto terrorist turd could have eliminated a lot more than two people if he had a semi-auto shotgun or even a pump action.
    Of course renting a van works pretty well.

    Next under Trudeau Two we will evolve to weapons manufacturing, the number of household items that can be modified for murderous intent is almost limitless.
    I want a cordless nailgun for Christmas.
    Given the magical “assault weapon” that haunts the dreams of our progressive comrades, I think a ban on Liberals ,especially Quebec Liberals would save more lives.

  14. If Trudeau The Younger manages to ram through a handgun ban, and if by a miracle of increased border enforcement he reduces the number of handguns entering the country…
