2017: A large percentage of 18 to 34 year old millennials are moving back in with their parents and fretting about losing their parents’ health care benefits when they reach the age of 26.
1944: Millions of young men between 18 to 34 stormed the beaches of Europe to free the innocent people trapped under Nazi rule.

A “large percentage” does not mean everyone – don’t twist statements.
If those men storming the beaches of Normandy knew what the outcome would lead to they would have ran back up the ramps and stormed Washington instead
I think about the soldier’s sacrifices throughout history every day. Such strong & brave men & women. The point gets lost on the younger generation, but I just hope that someday they may know what the word sacrifice really means.
The soldiers & veterans gave their lives for what we have today.
May our dear soldiers, veterans and true heroes rest in peace, Amen
Next remembrance day, just think for a minute that the hardest thing sometimes for a soldier to do is forget what they went through in war. They have done their part. The rest is up to us. Learn what you can & never forget it.
And God Bless the soldiers & veterans that are still here with us.
Feel free to waste your own money on jingoism and economic illiteracy. Contra to your dumb post, there are plenty of jobs they just aren’t in manufacturing (but Canada still manufactures plenty). The cost of living is just too high.
