  1. Feel free to consider me a bandwagon-jumping, Johnny-come-lately, believer in our current Civil War. However, with Trumps election, I see us moving rapidly from from a cultural Civil War to a very REAL and physical one. Not because of Trump and his supporters out here in the REAL world, but because of “them”. The newly “disenfranchised” disaffected collection of victims groups and hardcore leftists. These people are serving notice with the aid of globalist billionaires and the Democrap Party that they will NOT allow a peaceful transition of power.
    While it is true that most people just want to get on with their daily lives, just watch what happens to those people when they can no longer make it home from work, because one HATE group or another is blocking their freeway access, or keeping them from navigating Bancroft Way in Berkeley. Just watch what happens when these LEFTIST THUGS bash skulls with steel pipes, while the Berkeley PD, UC Berkeley PD, CA Hwy Patrol, Alameda Co. Sheriff Dept. sip coffee in their warm patrol cruisers … which multiple videos illustrate this morning. Although cute blonde girls getting pepper-sprayed receives more TV coverage. Just watch what happens when the so-called “peaceful protests” are filled with black-clad, helmeted, face-covered, shield-carrying, pipe weilding, weaponized “social justice warriors”. Not only is there ample video evidence of their presence last night, but it was well-predicted by the social net traffic. Meanwhile … the UC Berkeley police were busy lobbying Jerry Brown for pay and pension increases and couldn’t be bothered to protect the people and property. The police were not even BYSTANDERS last night. They were completely absent.
    Yeah, just wait until all the “normal” people can no longer get on with their daily lives … thanks to the organized RESISTANCE funded by billionaires from their island hideaways. Trust me … the American people are NOT like Argentinian sheep who tolerate leftist thuggery. The American people are definitely NOT like the Eurozone lemmings who have welcomed their own destruction with a special kind of self loathing that is anathema to a FREE people.

    Mean time, according to Terry Glavin, Trudeau’s boasting — “Welcome to Canada” is primarily boasting and they are actually blocking additional refugees at this point — good, because they hare already not been careful about numbers coming in . . . not because the people themselves are a problem (though some may be), but because communities can only handle so much without seriously negative impacts on schools, hospitals, local food banks, etc. The Liberals brought in more refugees that can be easily absorbed — with the additional problem that it will be many years before the new Syrian immigrants can get jobs, with many not having skills that would give them entry to good paying jobs. Liberals have created a social problem that is also hard on newcomers — many of whom were living in apartments in Turkey.
    The Liberal government exploited the Syrian refugee issue to win the last election — and they continue to do so. Their “Welcome to Canada” rhetoric is callous and hypocritical.

  4. Recent study indicated that Canadians are 15% more in debt per capita than our American cousins. This was deemed OK as Canadians had a greater capability to service this debt. No explanation on how. The assumption being, I guess, that Canadian incomes are greater. A simplistic, feel good, propaganda item. Meanwhile the economy is one bubble away from a worse than 2008 collapse.
    IMHO to many conservatives are over rating POTUS Trump’s ability to right the USS America. His challenges are extreme. I wish him well. Love Nigel Farage.
    As a conservative I will take no comfort until I see the pillars of progressive control attacked in a serious way. Education, Media and Bureaucracy are controlled by progressives and I do not see that changing in Canada or the USA. I guess our hope is that tech disruption does the job.

I should say a Councillor in the city of Ottawa is putting forward her idea of making Ottawa a “sancturay city”…it will not pass, there are many against the idea…sanity should prevail. “Sanctuary” is code for illegal immigrants…who the hell is going to andle the logistics of that nonsense when they start to stream in?
    It’s a mad, mad, mad world.

    There is a core demographic which openly manifests its support.
    But then there is a much larger demographic of Americans who are tacitly enjoying the show and quietly cheering The Donald on.

    Most definitely. You can spot them by the qualifier that always precedes their posts even on this site. They always start with ….”Well, I was never a big Trump fan” or “I think Trump is a buffoon…but”
    For decades (and moreso recently) the Left has indoctrinated by bully tactics. If you had a contrary opinion, you were an “ist” or a “phobe.” It was their beginning, enduring and final argument whatever the issue.
    Now, it goes something like this
    I believe this.
    Racist!
    Screw you!
    Strength in numbers is not confined to the physical…it also emboldens the mental and spiritual. People are starting to talk back…not accept, and actually chastise those who for decades had control of the narrative. Progressives are losing that one key necessity and it is literally driving them insane….did I say, Literally? Yes literally insane.

  14. It has occurred to me that these protests will be getting tiresome for many people . It is only a matter of time before someone who is attacked defends themselves . The protesters (assaulters ) have not taken into account that many of the people they are attacking don’t own just flags . There is going to be a lot of crying .
