    … is pretty slim. They don’t tell you that the machine has a lawnmower engine on its back running full throttle for power.
    It is very cool, don’t get me wrong. I love the balancing. But practical? It is defeated by a set of stairs, and the logistics of keeping it going are a lot worse than keeping a tank going. Tanks are expensive.
    For military applications, it is hard to beat a 19 year old with a rifle.

Next step in the drone world will be mass-produced drones the size of bumble bees that can saturate an area filled with enemy soldiers, and broadcast back to headquarters the precise gps location of each. Then, artillery, or airstrikes. No more need for human beings to go into an urban assault without full knowledge of where the enemy is. The end of limited warfare as we know it.
