    I noticed a complete and total absence of ANY police presence whatsoever. The result is anarchy. The result of anarchy will be private security. The result of private security will be Civil War. A bloody Civil War, where private citizens divide up and self-defend in large groups. All thanks to GOVERNMENT police departments choosing (with extreme prejudice) NOT to do their jobs. We are now reaping the results of 8 years of Obama.

  15. Not too sold on civil war as such, almost all of Trump’s support is hours away from the cities and so what event will bring about a full-on confrontation between street demonstrators and loyalists?
    Cops alone against these demonstrators won’t be overly harsh, I am guessing that two-thirds of them will be sympathetic (the sort of cops who would not be, once again, miles away in another area code).
    I would not say things will just die down either, this level of unrest will continue to flare up every time there’s some new directive or theme. As with the turbulent days around 1968, life will go on for most people, but a lot of noisy commotion will fill the TV news and (for the few who still care) the papers.
    On the political side, the Democrats will see how much they dare to do to immobilize Trump. He will quickly become a prisoner of the White House except for a few carefully guarded trips to loyal bases of support. He must be getting realistic advice that the “hidden hand” might rise up against him if he ventures into unguarded areas.
    The only uncertainty in my mind is whether an assassination attempt will be made to look like a lone wolf leftist (the globalists cannot be so crazy as to try to sell a right-wing attack on Trump), or just a straight-forward undisguised coup with consequences thought out and planned as far as would be possible. To do that, the emboldened elites would need to have signals of support in the military and Republican Party.
    Then the Trump loyalists would of course seek opportunities to lash out (another detail not clear in my mind is whether said coup would take out Pence as well, or co-opt him into governing like a bipartisan hack would). Tillerson would be next in line, I believe, and could be a globalist sleeper given the right inducements. Or they may go further down the line.
    I would imagine this could happen sooner rather than later. The globalists can’t risk Trump settling into a higher approval rating or getting any sort of traction with the wait and see middle. Far-fetched? I think it’s all very likely. The globalists have worked tirelessly for a lifetime in many cases to get to the place they thought they would be today with stooge Hillary on the throne. They can’t risk a successful Trump presidency. They gain nothing from four or eight years of chaos either. They want to get back to the mainline as soon as possible. It could happen within days or weeks.

  25. The ironic part of all this, of course, is that much of the contextual confusion about this atrocity was created by the Prime Minister himself in immediately labelling the shooting a “terrorist” act.
    Whether anybody likes it or not, an unintended consequence of the refusal of the left (and the left, as we know, has a collective brain cramp when it comes to the concept of “unintended consequences”) to differentiate between terrorism is the name of Islam and other motives for terrorism is that it has created among a great many people in this day and age the presumption that any act of “terrorism” is committed in the name of Islam.
    Indeed, as far as I know, Parliament enacted, at the behest of the Chretien Liberal government, the current terrorism provisions of the criminal code in direct response to the 9/11 attacks, which were clearly terrorist acts of mass murder and destruction committed in the name of Islam.
    And Fox News, being a journalistic outfit subject to the same weaknesses as any other such organization, sloppily put out the connect-the-dots tweet in question, even after the alleged involvement of the individual of Moroccan background — an allegation that had been broadly disseminated by the ‘news’ media, as is universally known — had been discounted.
    Trudeau, given his position, should have know that the use of such a loaded term in this extremely sensitive situation would have caused problems of one sort or another, but, as we have come to expect from this facile adherent to the tropes of the left, did not (surprise, surprise!). The Canadian media’s and the Prime Minister Office’s strutting high-fiveing over this pot-calls-the-kettle-black “take down” of their American media rival looks vacuous and silly, and is highly inappropriate at this solemn moment in Canadian life. The whole thing could have been done quietly without the “gotcha” antics.
    Regardless of this side show, the problem for Mr. Trudeau, Jr., which he created for himself, remains: was this heinous criminal act, which everybody agrees is repugnant to any Canadian value anybody knows about, terrorism or not? If so what was the motivation? No one seems to know, not even the police or the Crown prosecutors, which has led to media contortions to try to extricate him from his mistake. For example:

    Not charging someone with terrorism because you don’t know if you can prove it, and, “what difference, at this point, does it make, anyway?”, after the Prime Minister has jumped the shark on the subject, is not an excuse. Note that Mr. Goodale, the Public Safety Minister, who talks too much, has even doubled down on it, which is incredible. How about, “the prosecutors, in their good judgment, will make that decision in due course.”?
    Mr. Trudeau, Jr., far from aiding the cause of unity of opinion at this time, has done a disservice to Canadians, who want to know what’s going on. In the process, he has caused the administration of justice to come into disrepute (the police and the prosecutors are clearly in an awkward position, given his pronouncement on the subject). And the media, too clueless to see it, has brought upon itself another hit, which it can hardly afford.

  39. I think you are overstating the case. The problem with Obama was that he refused to call anything terrorism — even when it was. This looked like an act of terrorism at an early point, so labeling it that was reasonable. Now it’s been turned into something more politically acceptable – a lone wolf attack by a deranged conservative. So now the label does not apply. Everyone’s perceptions on this have changed. My bigger concern is whether or not there has been political interference.

The traditional leftist bunkers of government bureaucracies, universities, Green/anti-Conservative NGO’s, Hollywood, the MSM, …. cripes, even the politically correct, leftist cowards at the NFL, are now under direct attack. And this is how the cornered leftist rat reacts, with hate and violence.
    Milo, a “vibrantly gay” and loudly outspoken conservative, has repeatedly exposed campuses across America as being breeding grounds of intolerance and hate for weak-minded leftards. Any SDA regular who follows DAVID THOMPSON’s threads knows there are countless and undeniable examples of systematic bigotry against anything right-wing on most campuses. These types of riots are inevitable given the lack of character, integrity or honor these people regularly display.
    I am Canadian, but the thought of Trump sitting in the oval office still puts a huge smile on my face. Enjoy the ride, my American friends. Hopefully, we Canadians will someday, before too much more damage is done, catch up to you on a freedom train of our own.

One friend said he had not heard from Alexandre for a month — but this guy says they were at a pub last Thursday. Still, the press will not easily let go of its narrative. Bissonette liked Trump! Well, there you go. So what if millions of others do, this is a clear mark of a killer.
    Unfortunately, I think this story is going to disappear. We have not heard from Bissonette. I expect his trial will be kept low key — and likely not to happen for a while. I am sticking to the idea that the story of one Quebecois shooter is not quite accurate and that some level of political interference is in play.
