  1. We need somebody to stand up to Potato Head and do so in a fiery manner, or is Rona Ambrose the best this country can do?

  2. Looking at our slate of contenders for the Conservative leadership I can’t see a winner. We need a shakeup big time. Political correctness will take us down, someone needs to come along and really spell it out.

  3. She is telling those who oppose trump to sit down and take it.
That is analogous to being told to sit down and aquiesce to what JT is doing. I could care less about her tone – she’s wrong.

  4. I agree, and based on what we see on that slate PM Butts has another four years after these four are up. Most of them are busy trying to out-Liberal the Liberals, with Chong being almost disgusting.
    O’Leary?
Thanks for the Judge Jeanine Pirro segment. I missed it last evening.

  5. Good for her. Truth to power.
I predict that Trump will end up being one of the greatest presidents the US has ever had.
    – Those with real intelligence have already realized that.
    – The left will eventually accept that but reluctantly.
    – Progressives will accept that while crying in their Mommy’s basement.
    – Silicon Valley hypocritical billionaires will only accept it kicking and screaming and having temper tantrums like the spoiled brats that they are.
The channel has changed for the better, and those who cannot see that are quite frankly fools.

  6. Why do they call her judge? Does any other nation do this?
I can’t take that woman. Not even in tiny doses.
    Fake drama queen.
And her “opening statement” is redolent of phony Bill O’Reilly’s phony “opening statement” except she doesn’t provide the words on screen.
As if the world breathlessly waits!

  7. There’s a difference between what’s happening in the U. S. and how things went here in Canada: nobody rioted in the streets after PM Man Bun won.

  8. “That is analogous to being told to sit down and aquiesce to what JT is doing. I could care less about her tone – she’s wrong.”
No Gord, it’s not the same at all.
She is not saying one has to agree with Trump policies. She is saying there was an election and, according to their process, Trump won. Support the process and facilitate a smooth transition of power. Don’t throw in the hacking and the popular vote and whatever else they can conjure up in an attempt to delegitimize his presidency.
Justin Trudeau won a majority victory with 39% of the vote. In our system he won a legitimate victory even though 61% of the population voted against him. You may not like the result, you may not like the process, but that’s how it has been for 150 years and that’s how it will be until it changes through the democratic process. With that, he is given the reins of government until another political party can muster up 39%.
That doesn’t mean you have to support what he is doing. By all means, push back against his policies. But you don’t question whether he has won the right to be the Prime Minister.
    So Gordo, you’re wrong.

  9. @Gord Tulk: “That is analogous to being told to sit down and aquiesce to what JT is doing. I could care less about her tone – she’s wrong.”
I don’t think it’s a right or wrong argument. While I’m no fan of hers and find her irritating, I think this is simply a rant in response to the seemingly never ending effort to delegitimize the election.
I would cite the recount efforts in Michigan, Pennsylvania, & Wisconsin, the talk about subverting the state electors, and a hundred other pin pricks (antisemitism, white lash, etc, etc, etc.) as part and parcel of these efforts to delegitimize the election. I’m sick and tired of it as well. It deserves a good rant.

  10. Ambrose is doing a very good job as interim leader and it’s really starting to show, the Trudeau/Butts cabal are going down in the polls and the Conservatives are picking up the numbers.
O’Leary should soon do it or get off the pot. I know it takes courage, anyone afraid of losing should not consider politics.

  11. “Ambrose is doing a very good job as interim leader …”
Ambrose is a disgrace masquerading as a Conservative.
Judge Judy nailed the hypocritical left.

  12. Agreed. The government is having to make decisions, and they’re trying to hedge them as much as possible to keep their base from rioting or sliding over to the Dips. Making decisions means making some people unhappy. And the federal Tories are doing a pretty good job about keeping the pot boiling.
Ignore the whining and sniveling, Liz. You hit this one on on the money.

  13. Ambrose is doing a very good job as interim leader
And then she insulted the people who protested the Alberta carbon tax in Edmonton a few days ago.
As for Potato Head and his buddy going down in the polls, they’ve shown themselves to be perfectly capable of doing that all by themselves without any help from anyone else.

  14. BO’s behavior as president has been nothing less than disgusting and unprecedented … and I’m not even talking about all his “Executive Orders”, “memos”, “post it notes” “agreements”, or whatever other devices he invented to evade Congress. No, I am talking about his star-studded campaign for HER. And his subsequent “opinions” and “attitudes” toward president-elect Trump. No other sitting US President has behaved this way, since the invention of the radio. No … all other former US Presidents have chosen to NOT interfere with the will of the people. All other former US Presidents have STOPPED “running for office” once they were elected. This Affirmative-action President can’t STOP running for President. I suspect the reason is because he knows what a FRAUD he is. That the office is so far above him that he cannot believe he actually works in the Oval Office. BO needs to shut-up, and go work on his new library. His lie-brary of shame. Of failed Obamakare, of failed TPP, of failed Iran cash giveaway, of failed border enforcement. Don’t go away ashamed … just go-away. And cling to whatever shred of dignity the office of President may have inured to you. Smh.

  15. The Harper tenure and his false flag removal shows me the left will never accept anything but statism, with them pulling lording over us with our money.

  16. Obamas star-studded campaign for HER.

He really believed his 52 percent approval rating that the lamestream media kept fawning over.
My guess is his actual number is in the 30 %.

  17. Jeanine Pirro is absolutely correct in her analysis of Barack Hussein Obama’s behaviour.
This is what America gets when they hire an academic (presumably) / community organizer as President of the United States.
Up until now, the people who have been dealing with Mr. Obama or competing with him are of the same calibre experience-wise, morally, and intellectually, that is, little tyrants that have become big tyrants.
Mr. Obama is trying the same tactics that he has ALWAYS tried throughout his political career, that is, “reveal” some “horrible” information about his opponent in an attempt to smear his opponent’s reputation. Up until now it has worked, but, with Mr. Trump, it doesn’t work one iota.
Mr. Obama has NEVER encountered a person of the personal and business success, strength, experience, and calibre of Donald Trump and it is driving him absolutely batty.
Good. The little twerp deserves what he gets.

  18. What you say is true, but the United States comprises 320 million drama queens.
Oh gee, now I get to solve Ms. McMillan’s access puzzle! Which language? Is that a Polish “dark l?” Why doesn’t she throw in some Cyrillic or Kanji just or fun? Or both? But I shouldn’t give forth ideas.

  19. She’s not as conservative as we would like, but if you are in the party, (even if you shouldn’t be in it, e.g. Michael Chong) you are a Conservative. Anyone who isn’t satisfied with the way things are (e.g. you, me) is free to sit around and complain on the interweb, but also free to join the party and try to make it better.
Pierre Trudeau was a marxist who joined the Liberal party and subverted it to his aims. Cardinal Butts is a watermelon who joined it and hijacked it for his own.

  20. “That is analogous to being told to sit down and aquiesce to what JT is doing. I could care less about her tone – she’s wrong.”
I guess you could say this in relation to the tone of her delivery, but the substance of what she said was spot-on! So you either didn’t think about what she said, or shut out the substance or you haven’t a clue about what really happened over the past 8 years of Barry’s ascension to the Cherry Blossom Throne.
Barry had more than enough opportunity to actually be “Presidential” and tell the FBI, CIA, DoHS, EPA, CDC, NOAA, and EVERY other government department to show up, do their jobs to the best of their abilities following not just the letter of the law but the spirit of the law according to the Constitution of the United States of America.
Instead, the Community Organizer was preoccupied with re-organizing the structures and laws of the United States to coincide with the UN mandates and the wills of the “Establishment”. Now that there is pushback against his changes he is acting like a screaming petulant child who has been told his sandcastle is going to be washed away as it has been built too close to the incoming tides.

  21. @Gord (“[she’s] telling them to sit down and take it”).
I would agree if she was addressing the American voter. But she is addressing the behaviour of Obama and Clinton, Democratic Leaders who don’t seem to be embracing democracy now that they have lost.
And this Russia thing is a lot like when the Canadian Liberals call Conservatives too American. The modern day boogey man. The Russians are coming (Americans are still supposed to be afraid of Russia)… We’re becoming too American (Canadians are still afraid of not being distinct from Americans – not distinct like Quebec mind you)…

  22. Forget the library. I’ve been hoping that Trump just hands him a lifetime pass to his golf courses to keep him out of the way for the next few years.

  23. Agreed.
PET realized that in order to make change you had to play the game. Political parties encourage a wide range of ideas (big tent). There are liberals who are very conservative and ones that are outright socialists. They all belong to the LPC. The CPC has a similar makeup social/fiscal.
PET won over the LPC and became it’s leader. He then went about selling himself to the 39% of the country you need to form a majority government. 16 years of him and, well we all know what happened.
So, is Ambrose doing a good job? Perhaps, but she is in the role of caretaker, not the person who is going to lead the CPC into the next election. We are a long way to the next election. Wasting your ammo at this stage of the game is fool hardy.
The leadership process has to play out. Along the way spud will accumulate baggage. At some point the voters will have had enough and maybe if the CPC looks attractive they will form government. New governments are not usually elected because they suddenly become loveable. The existing government is thrown under the bus. Witness the most recent Alberta and Federal elections.

  24. Jeanine Pirro is a talking head. An entertainer.
Tomorrow she will say something completely at odds with what she said today. It’s about ratings. Ratings determine what ads cost on the network. That’s what tv and radio are. One giant infomercial. Sell sell sell.
Her opinion is the equivalent of Bono, DiCapiro…..

  25. Along the way spud will accumulate baggage. At some point the voters will have had enough
And, at the last minute, he’s going to pull several rabbits out of a hat, dazzling those supporters who considered voting for a different party. Any thought of him being a bad leader will instantly vanish.
However, that tactic won’t have any effect on those who will back him no matter what or those who will never cast a ballot in his favour.

  26. Libraries ARE a bit of an anachronism in our Google, Wikipedia world. BO would be better suited building his own Presidential golf clubhouse. Where he could regale the world on every world crisis he handled between his typical 3-putts

  27. Well, not really, John. They get the government the Deep State wants. The Deep State owns the MSM and the Indoctrination Centres, often referred to as schools. They tell you what you want and then serve up a Fart Catcher who will do as they say when elected. Infrequently, the voters rebel and allow someone else to win. But that’s not the end of the world because, as we see to the south of us, the Deep State can entangle the winner in endless obstacles until they can get their choice elected.
Oh, one other thing. There is no democracy.

  28. In Canada you would be talking about the Laurentian Elite. They are firmly in control and depending on who is elected CPC leader will also control that party.

  29. Yes really. The people let that happen by electing lawyers to run their lives; they deserve the result.
