  5. I’ve listened to Murphy lots over the years on various con talk shows. He sounds like a very nice agreeable person. The establishment really likes him. But he has the stench of loser on him as a campaign organizer and very much typifies the emptiness of vision and passion of the establishment GOP – he seems to think it’s just math, money and moderation.
    The purge of the GOP has been long overdue – hasn’t been one since Buckley in the fifties. I wish it Godspeed.

    My morning laugh:
    In a sold out rally in Sandersland, Trump had a protester ejected.
    Told them to “throw him out in the cold and keep his coat.”
    I hate myself for finding that over-the-top hilarious.
    Trump will be a total disaster as president …. but much FUN.
    It won’t be ‘Enjoy the decline”.
    The decline will be a veritable knee-slapper.

  9. The thing is I don’t think Trump would be a disaster president. He’ll have good policy advisers, a good cabinet, and here’s the most important part : he loves his country. He’d probably actually be able to do deals with congress even if the dems controlled both houses too.

  10. I think regularly about how Nixon and kissinger worked the foreign affairs file – Kissinger would tell foreign leaders that nixon was unhinged – that you never knew how far he would go. Secretly bombing cambodia for years, negotiating the visit to china etc. backed that uncertainty and that kept the US’s adversaries on their heels. Nixon was far from unhinged – quite the contrary.
    I suspect a president trump would be a very effective leader in the mould of Reagan – a demanding delegator- with fierce rhetoric and an armed forces to back it up.

  12. I consider that the quality of a talking head is usually inversely related to how well he is liked by the progressive media. Bush is a loser and that’s a good thing.

  13. Yep … President Trump WILL be a total disaster. A disaster for every American (and non-American) who is currently getting FREE STUFF from Obama that they don’t deserve. An unmitigated disaster for every corporate crony capitalist who has showered Hillary and Jeb with campaign donations. A complete disaster for every UNION thug who has been paid to protest outside their local MacDonalds demanding $ 15.00/hr to serve jumbo fries. And a horrifying disaster for the 20 million ILLEGAL aliens squatting in our country. Yep … the USA is desperate for an anti-Obama President … and so is the whole world !

    Obamination has been hell for American allies.
    How could Trump be worse?

    Trump alone of the current contenders, might reduce the kleptocracy.
    No career politician seems willing to address the world we are living in.
    Debt, massive government theft and obstruction.
    Parasitism held up as the “ideal” career.
    The current crop of politicians, whatever their self claimed ideology, all support greater theft from the citizen.
    Status quo for statism.
    Kleptocracy as democracy.
    They really seem to believe that wealth is created by government.
    Trump calls them stupid.
    Is he wrong?

  16. I say it again, Trump is a buffoon. BUT with the US debt closing in on 20 frightening TRILLION dollars, he may be *just the guy they need* to find the possibly *only* way out, having survived bankruptcy himself and triumphed.
    it takes a cool head and steady and and real and the impression of the above.
    clinton? oh, crikey. she gets in and the day or reckoning could move up so much it winds up in her lap.

  17. Trump is having fun. Entertaining himself and others who hope for change at any cost.
    If by some other world miracle he wins, the beltway establishment will destroy him. Trump is the ultimate outsider. A guy with few (any?) friends on the inside of power with the exception of those convenient ‘friends’ he may have needed from time to time.
    Washington is chock full of disingenuous con men who pull the levers of power (much like Ottawa). These types are not likely to play ‘nice’ with Trump because – what’s in it for them? Witness the Harper era.
    America cant be saved. It has been sold out by the Clintons Bushes and every other 2 bit Senator who has sold his/her vote to the highest bidder.
    Enjoy the Trump entertainment. It’s fun but hardly real.
