  3. I have tried to talk to people about this, not in an inflammatory way, but just saying “isn’t it awful what happened in Cologne on New Year’s Eve?” They did not know what I was talking of and when I explained, they said it was a hoax on the Internet.
    I personally do not think that Angela Merkel will be around by next year and could even be “gone” within 6 months. Depends whether the Germans have become Beta Men and Women, not willing to help themselves.

    I have very little sympathy for the people of Cologne. Women voted for this, demanded it with their emotional blathering, wanted new men after the ones who catered to their desires weren’t what they desired. Enter Ibrahim and 1000 of his fellow savages.

  12. Does anyone know if the CBC has covered this issue? Unfortunately, the incident does not quite match the Liberal narrative re refugees, so I am guessing the CBC is reluctant to report on the rapes and molestations in Germany.
    Not reporting significant happenings in the world — even if they do not match your world view — is bound to backfire. People will become suspicious about how things are being reported and begin to suspect cover-ups even where they may not exist. This is an era of mass communication and media policies like covering up unpleasant stories simply undermine what is left of MSM.
    Big Momma: Not paying attention to what is happening around the world is exactly why the Liberals were able to put forward a false narrative re Conservatives in the last election. They used the Muslim immigrant issue to paint Conservatives as mean spirited and bigoted, when in fact, the Conservatives have been very thoughtful about how to continue bringing people to Canada without risk of not just terrorism, but the sort of cultural chaos that is now happening in Europe. BUT — Canadians are not interested. We just want to focus on “sunny ways.” Good luck with that.

  15. The media’s response reminds me of the regulatory capture effect:
    “Regulatory capture is a form of political corruption that occurs when a regulatory agency, created to act in the public interest, instead advances the commercial or political concerns of special interest groups that dominate the industry or sector it is charged with regulating.”
    Like, for example, marketing boards or the pre-Harper CRTC the media has been captured by politicians and special interest groups. I’m not sure what the main factor is – loyalty to progressive causes, career advancement, fear, status, snobbery, or (in the case of Canadian media)intermarriage? The CBC is the obvious example of this variation of regulatory capture. The German New Year’s assaults came and went from their pages swiftly. If anything like this had happened at the Calgary Stampede it would have resulted in endless columns and opinions on “cowboy culture”.
    Apparently, the importance of a story about mass sexual assault is determined by the skin colour, religion and nationality of the perpetrators, not the horror of the victims. Because mainstream media has been captured I’m not surprised that there’s little to no condemnation about the media suppressing the story at the behest of the state or police, they’d likely do the same thing on progressive issues. To their credit, the National Post is covering the assaults.

  18. The perpetrators in Cologne are the actualizers of the Islamic supremacy doctrine, a significant demographic of those who shall be referred to henceforth as Trudeau’s people. Trudeau’s people and by democratic extension, those that voted for and enable his multi-cult pathology are also responsible for the eventual domestic equivalent activities. We should therefore refer to these people as progressive people even though they are anything but “progressive”. In a world of inverted morality, the language seems to be the first casualty as “liberals” are anything but liberal and likewise for progressives. Should that cover everyone who won’t agree with the notion that perhaps mass Muslim immigration to the west is not a good idea? It certainly includes most of the bovine progressives in the mainstream media.

  25. The CRTC under the previous Liberal governments protected industry from completion and consumer choice. Classic regulatory capture. Under Harper the consumers were once again considered important. Specifically, I like the recent reforms the CRTC enacted – skinny basic and pick and pay. They’re supposed to be phased in this year. I’m interested to see if the change in government has any affect on the timeline and policies. Regulatory recapture?

  27. A critical mass is the smallest amount of fissile material needed for a sustained nuclear chain reaction.
    In the second part of the 20th century, Germans imported about 2 million mostly Turks so they could run German manufacturing. These people were called guest workers and their stay was, on the official side, limited to 2 years.
    Things worked rather well. The Turks made money, the Germans made things and sold them to everybody else. This made Germans very, very rich.
    Then came the SJW that insisted that the guest workers get a chance to stay in the land of plenty and become sort of Germans.
    The guest workers, as opposed to mass welfare imports, were actual workers that went to work every day and produced stuff knowing that if they did not their guest invitation would be retracted.
    Current situation has no resemblance to the earlier times in any parameter.
    While the Germans still manage the best economy in the world they can’t possibly be thinking that things are going to work out as they always have.
    Perhaps there should be a qualification pointing to the German ruling class. The plebeians are happy because things are working so far.
    The situation has changed drastically in the past year.
    Importing over a million people is going to overwhelm Germany. It remains to be seen to what extent.
    To keep one million people that are for all practical purposes from another era, another time, another culture, another everything is going to have different consequences.
    Some may remember when Germany was reunited into one country. What basically happened was that the West Germany had to absorb East Germany into its economic and social structures on much more massive scale, something like 30 million people. Of course both sides were German. One side was advanced by deplorable, corrosive free enterprise, heh, the other side was advanced to nowhere so they could build socialist paradise.
    Big difference.
    Maybe the current ruling class thinks that the people from another time and place is going to be a piece of cake compared to the many more millions of east Germans in another circumstance altogether.
    The mass wave of people from another time today will be perhaps surprise to Germans. These people want free stuff, if they don’t get it, they will cluster and cluster until they get the critical mass and do some mayhem. Where it will end, nobody knows, only the ruling class, because they know stuff.
    And they are not telling.
    Meanwhile in Syria, there are poor kids with their ribs showing their hunger and nobody cares. The airhead in Ottawa should send them planeloads of food and stuff so they can get their life together and make new life in their own country, Syria.
    That though, would not produce the same opportunities for selfies as when you bring them here.

    He only did some tweaking to a body that should have been desolved. In a democracy power will not be yours forever so When you get the power …you use it. Especially if informed by principles you believe in. And believe right for the people. IE free market.

    You can be certain that, at first, the police will come down hard on the German males involved – harassment, jail time, media shaming … and firing of any police chiefs not willing to play along … but this is WAY too far in the open. The MSM simply cannot stop the people from talking, and right now, all of Germany is talking about these events. Not all of them “get it” and will still rush to defend the emigres in the hallowed name of standing up against “racism” … but after more events like this, I think we’ll see reactions just like our bouncer in the video.
    Change is in the air. Whether it’s enough or in time, who knows?

  34. Not surprising. Personally, the only reason we didn’t cut satellite last year was because we knew the skinny package would be available this year. Around here TV is just background noise while the kids tap away on their electronics. If the corporations and Liberals rescind consumer friendly reforms then 1)it will confirm that Liberals are still corporatists at heart 2)we cut off our satellite tv. Between iTunes,Netflix, other internet entertainment, apps and video games who needs the crappy, expensive sat tv.

  35. So many people assess the world they live in based on emotions and feelings.
    They feel comfortable and they desperately want to unconditionally love their fellow man, and they expect the same in return. They do not base their assessment of the world they are living in on facts. It is only their experience and their emotional state that matters. If they have not experienced being groped by a group of 1,000 Muslims, then in their minds it isn’t real – even if they were in the square and it was happening nearby.
    This is compounded by the fact that their world view has not actually been informed by experience living in other cultures. They honestly expect the rest of the world, raised in years of jealousy and hatred towards the West to act and think like them. Well they don’t.
    When the media fails to report on events like this, it makes the situation worse.
    There is lots of evidence that Western people and their culture is under attack from within and without, but only those looking for it tend to see it now. Reports of rape in Sweden, grooming of underage girls in the UK, New Years attacks by an organized gang in Cologne. How long before the naive idealists will see the new world for what it is?
