A wonderful essay. It’s the Great Pity, ain’t it. The frauds continue because public is too stupid to figure things out.

Clinical drug trials? Who needs ’em, they’re not science!
General Relativity, which predicted the Big Bang? Not science, can’t make another Big Bang in the lab. CMB bah! GPS bah!

Might as well include heroin, cocaine, pot, acid and psilocybin in that list.
