On Friday, at the Manning Conference in Ottawa, I had a chance to speak to Defence Minister Jason Kenney. We talked before either of us knew about the death of Sgt. Andrew Doiron.
But after the niceties of discussing his new job, he’s only been minister a few weeks, we turned to discussing what is needed to fight the jihadists, the limits of what we can do militarily and the need for clear language on who the enemy is.
Enjoy.

Great talk by Kenney, just the man for this task. Just wish our leaders would say the words “muslim” and islam as this is exactly what ISIS is. They are following islam as told in their koran. From what I can understand the vast majority of muslims are loyal first to islam, loyalty to Canada is far down their list. As long as we kowtow to people like the woman, a non citizen, refusing to take the citizenship oath without her niqab we are toast. As long as we accept these garments as a religious requirement, though imams have stated they are not, rather than an arabic custom now used for political means we are done.
Jason Kenney is and has been one of the leading conservatives in the CPC Party. I say this because not all MP’s in the CPC are actually conservative. When Harper decides to let go I am hoping that Kenney replaces him. His experience in government is extensive and I trust his principals founded in the Reform movement.
With the appointment of this highly regarded and experienced minister, our prime minister shows he understands the importance of the defense portfolio going forward within the context of the world war jihadists have declared on all of us. This is a real issue that concerns Canadians, not one the made up ones our progressive potentates use to yarn their memes – climate change, Iranian nuclear power, the middle class in crisis, gender rights, race and class, and on – and on.
The progressivia and their media allies are going to push hard going into the fall. At the rate they’re going right now, with their hysterical attacks on any security measures, they’ll be exhausted by the fall. The only wild card is whether or not trade unions will defect to Trudeau, and even then it won’t be enough to hold Harper to minority and thus defeat.
Meanwhile Harper keeps his powder dry and the progressivists, like the final two players in a game of liars dice, realize they have no choice but to turn on each other. The truth is, the voter doesn’t think either of them are fit for PM.
Why isn’t this man PM?
Timing Occam.
Back when the muslims blew up those buddas becuase they were unismalic now bulldozing old ruins and being a afront to islam Look Out becuase Stonehinge or some other place will be in their sites
Because first we have to endure a term or two of Justin Trudeau as PM before the majority,or at least 40% of voters wise up.
He’s the one actually importing Muslims, and you people fawn over him like the sycophants that you are.
His department recently bragged about wanting bringing in another 100 000 somalis.
Very good grasp of the defense portfolio. He only let down once when he said it’s a distortion of the religion, which it isn’t. Ol’ Mo did the same, and demanded his followers do so too.
This is crap. Why isn’t he investigating the Crusaders?
“His department recently bragged about wanting bringing in another 100 000 somalis.”
Link?
Nice attempt at a collective noun for progressives. How about PROGRESSISTAS or PROGRESSISTANIS
Muslim or Christian? Big difference.
Works for me.
