I’ve rarely seen a more callous person than this woman responding to Andrew Lawton:
OMG. I'm a senior. I eat three meals a day. Plus snacks. You're so full of it. Stop the lies
— Elsie Lammers (@LammersFairy) September 22, 2026
A quick review of her X feed reveals all. Such folks are the reason why the Liberals keep getting reelected. It doesn’t matter how much damage is done to Canada and their fellow Canadians. They simply don’t care.

In Britain, in the pre-Margaret Thatcher days when the country was in economic turmoil beset with labour strikes, one common sentence in use by the better off was “I’m all right Jack!”. A Liberal voter supporting Carney could easily use this saying.
pffffft.
l suppose thats the other side of the ‘coin’ (pun intended).
that is, if you HAVE the ‘coin’ in the first place.
aaaaaaaaaaand *how many of those seniors vote Liberal?????*
I am a white woman in her 75th year. I eat a very small lunch (half an apple, some cheese and a mug of tea) because I physically can no longer eat more food. I DO eat a decent small breakfast (hitting all of the Canada Food Guide categories) and a small dinner. My “brother from another mother” who is the same age as me, also cannot eat as much food as in the past.
I am very mindful of what I buy at No Frills and rarely go out to eat anymore, I just cannot afford the cost. Earlier, in my life, I was a designer in the hospitality industry – restaurants, hotels and resorts with some food court kiosk locations as well.
As Kate would say, ‘we need a good famine’. Our society is so indebted to the welfare mentality and the entrepreneurial community so crushed by government.
At the rate it’s going, you just might get one:

That was from 6 months ago; it is very doubtful to have gotten any better. And yes, part of the problem is that the more wealthy just don’t care; it hasn’t hit them….yet.
This is when we juxtapose:
Carney’s party and government hates Jews and Israel.
Carney’s company – Brookfield to pay $2 billion for an Israeli company

As Marie would say “I eat cake every day, so can they”.
Elsie doesn’t sound very … nice ™️ …
What will Canadians become when they lose their signature cultural characteristic?
I live on OAS and CPP and have no problem eating. We have a couple vehicles. We take holidays, last one to Mexico. I made an investment in a house, actually a farm, 40 years ago. Like an idiot I kept doing work. My last job will be done when I’m 75. I anticipated getting old. If I had to pay rent, I’d be hurting.
Andrew is a very cool guy and is definitely cabinet material if/when the CPC ever gets its act together. The portfolio should be something dealing with the press and communications. You should check out his book on the Freedom Convoy.
I scrolled back through her X feed, (to the beginning and I’m not doing that again! noting firstly that we share no common followers, always a great relief) there are some posts which call upon The Turd to do this or that, and sign petitions which would oppose some #Librano policies
She doesn’t like Jordan Peterson, nor anyone associated with the UCP here in AB, the only positives I saw were for former Calgary Mayor Nenshi and former AB premier Notley… so I’d say she’s with the NDP.
“It can’t be understated: @RachelNotley has made an indelible impact on Alberta’s political landscape. Help us thank her for her service as leader of the @albertaNDP!

I’ve followed Andrew Layton on X and while he was a journalist for quite a while, he’s a stand up guy.
I apparently blocked her some time ago. I wonder what her infraction was, but I probably had a lot from which to choose.
Social media is filled with bot farms, NPCs, paid influencer and state actors. You really saw this ramp up during covid and governments have admitted to paying people (or AI) to transmit their message. Personally, I think a not insignificant portion of our federal taxes employs people to post on social media full time but lists them as employees of government agencies and crown corporations. I mean, does anyone wonder why the CRA has so many employees but absolute crap service?
Anyway, when I see posters on X like the one above I assume they are not genuine opinions, they are opinions that are paid to be inflammatory. Don’t get me wrong…there’s a lot of lunatics in the population but, by percent, there’s far too many on social media for them to all be real, authentic, sincere opinions.
Trust me- this could be anyone in the more affluent areas of Deadmonton and surrrounding area. They sound exactly like this. And they will give Nenshi and the NDP a majority in the next election.
L – Would breaking up the dairy/egg/poultry cartel allow the price of highly nutritious animal protein, fats and other nutrients to drop by…say 30% ?
I’m just asking for a neighbour…40 million of them, whom we used to be publicly reminded to “Love thy neighbour as thyself”, a unifying value. Eggs are, by design, highly nutritious and still the least expensive source of those nutrients. The shells are also a source of calcium. Dairy, eggs and poultry are much more nutritious than carbohydrates, especially highly refined ones with sugar added. One of the most profound reforms under this Trump Administration is Robert Kennedy Jr. getting their gov’t. food pyramid turned upside down.
Both is unlikely to happen under the globalist rule by oligarchs Liberals. Also, are the C.PC. still compromised by the the Dairy/Egg/Poultry Cartel; that got Andrew Scheer elected and forced Max Bernier (and Reformers)out of the C.P.C. . This to turn it into a branch of the Uni-Party?
There’s options to the grocery oligarchy if you’re near farm communities.
Buy local.
I responded to her comment.
“What liberals lack for in intelligence, they more than make up for it with arrogance.”
I have encountered very few liberals that were not covered by that statement.
Sounds like pierogi thighs saying everyone should drop Disney+ to make ends meet!
In the past year I have paid for the elderly’s eggs, apples, oranges, veggies and shampoo because they couldn’t afford them at the till. This kind of attitude makes me sick, next time you grocery stop look at how little the elderly have in their carts. Oh well the elbows up crowd feel all superior to those suffering because they are sticking it to Trump. In six months they’ll be foaming at the mouth, I hope.
Little in their carts? Maybe they go shopping every day. What else do they have to do?
I realize that no generation has a monopoly on not being able to see beyond the tip of their own nose, but I’ll say this as a Gen Xer stuck on the BC coast who knows a lot of boomer libs through church and various clubs etc: the boomers, especially the women, do seem to have a disproportionate percentage of people who are that up their own butts and in their own bubbles.
I mean, I remember being at a conference in 2019 in Victoria and a bunch of boomer women just like this thought that the right choice for PM was Lizzy May, lol… and they all love the whole euthanasia thing since it’s been rebranded as MAiD, though always for someone else, not themselves. They get viscerally angry if you mention things like the vet being told to consider death rather than the stairlift they asked for, and either insist that never happened or defend it if you get all uppity and show them a news story mentioning it (especially if you find mention on one of the media outlets they like).
I’ve also been berated for saying I would be happy to move to the USA and they get suspicious when I say Carney’s tariffs hurt Canadians more than Americans.
And don’t get me started on the ones who try to shame anyone who dares complain about the tent city full of junkies in our small town… of course, none of these women live within shuffling distance of it, so it’s obviously not a problem and clearly doesn’t pose a safety risk or increase crime.
Etc.
Shouldn’t mock the poor; it’s bad form…and bad intent.
Well, people are kept very well inside their bubbles and have been indoctrinated into a very callous attitude…so, don’t see why this woman’s response is surprising. (and no, it’s global, not just Canada).
