    conveniently, just after multiple autopsies totally refute the shot in the back testimony of multiple alleged witnesses, a new witness pops up.
    piaget crenshaw has suddenly come forward with an account that defenseless 6’4″ 292 lb michael brown was shot in the arm while being pursued… stopped, then turned to face the police officer and was shot many times in the front of his body… presumably while meekly surrendering.
    begs the question whether, now that we have “the real story”, previous witnesses will now be charged with obstruction of justice.
    it’s not like piaget would tell a lie… right?

  2. Thank you, AndyCanuck. Unfortunately, there’s little if any chance that any other verdict can possibly come out of this except that the police officer is guilty or there will be a mass, and probably violent revolt. That officer’s life is ruined, whether his actions are found justified or not.

  3. Lack of exit wounds is consistent with police use of JHP, jacketed hollow points, designed to expand in the body and not over-penetrate (exit), thereby minimizing risk of an over penetrating round exiting the target and hitting someone else.
    The wound pattern suggests to this layman that shots could have been fired at the target as he charged the cop while reaching forward to grapple for the gun, traversing from the right thumb to top of head (head down as 6’4″ target was attacking a shorter cop). Cop would likely have been shooting upward at the taller target. A bullet exiting the arm could have struck the target’s chest. Without analyzing the wound tracks to reflect the posture and movements in a dynamic situation, you can’t say anything definitive based on the basic entry/exit spots marked on the static autopsy diagram. But the target was not likely to have been running away…

  4. Maybe not having a wounding policy for unarmed suspects is the problem. Perhaps that’s why you stand a better chance of being killed by a cop than a criminal – not good juju for a. Civilian protection force.

    There are over 500 murders per year. How many people do cops kill per year? A dozen or two?

  7. Indeed, the witnesses are being dragged out, with, seemingly, sudden minor revisions to their tales.
    Now, with so many of these “expert” witnesses, speaking, repeatedly, giving varied stories, what are the chances that, IF there’s a trial, that the defense lawyer (for the cop) is going to HAVE A FIELD DAY tearing apart these conflicting accounts, dated, as new information comes out.
    Now, MB’s accompice wouldn’t lie, to deflect the fact he was stealing cigars for blunts, would he?
    Others wouldnt want to get interviewed, so, oh I don’t know…get seen on TV?

    That is why the US Army and Marine Corp is changing from 9mm to Colt 1911 .45 ACP(for the Marine Corp) not sure if the Army has made a choice yet. Widespread complaints from the field that 9mm does not have enough stopping power.

    So in the US there were 14,827 total homicides in 2012. Of those 409 were justifiable homicides by law enforcement, or 2.7%.
    Nothing like a bit of real data to further disturb the narrative.

  14. Yeah well, yer comparing 9mm to .45 ACP…..40SW is about midway stopping power, especially with the HP DUM DUMs probably matches the full patch .45 in terminal effect.
    The USMC has large stocks of 1911’s and 45ACP in reserve….
