  1. How could a bullet or a couple of bullets enter, exit, and reenter a number of times?
For those who do not get FoxNews, Dr. Baden is one of the medical contributors on FoxNews.

  2. Just shows how the “aim at center of mass” idea goes out the window when things go bad real fast. Helps one understand how reports of officers emptying pistol magazines at a perp and about 25 of the 30 rounds fired are strays. I’m ex rcmp so these types of examples interest me.

  3. I haven’t been watching but since none of the bullet holes were in the back, CNN is pushing a “the six shots are overkill meaning it was unjustified!!1!!” meme. Look for it tomorrow, all over.

  4. All police are trained to empty the magazine. Once you start you don’t stop. If you are at the point that you are pulling the trigger you are trying to kill them. The odds are that the first few will probably miss. If you have a guy running at you with his hands flailing etc. that would explain those wounds. Through the arms and into the body etc.
How can the cop cars not have dash cams?

  5. Please excuse two simple questions. What kind of logic would support rioting as a substitute for a justice
System? What kind of leadership allows agitators in and calls them civil rights people. God help the average American with the bloody mess they have for leadership.

  6. Seems to me this officer put four in his arm which were non-lethal. Since that didn’t stop him the next two made sure he stopped. None were in his back, so much for running away.

  7. Not enough data but this does not indicate fleeing and suggests very close contact, like a struggle to keep/gain control of the pistol. Probably a lot of GSR on the wounds.

  8. *
shot as he was running away, huh?
maybe cops were using those magic lee harvey oswald bullets that twist and turn and double back.

  9. My local radio station CJAD is reporting that there were six bullet wounds – no mention that there was no back wounds in the brief report.

  10. The toxicology report should be interesting.
Rumours started to fly and has gotten out of hand. Let the facts play out. Sort of the reason there is due process etc.

  11. POS Glock with stock sighting – pulls to the right and shoots high- not a one shot stopper but a wound machine – which begs the obvious question; what was the elevated threat level presented to armed police by an unarmed kid that they went beyond crippling wounds (to take him into custody) to lethally multi tap the target from a distance?
I smell a typical “police silence” cover up of a bad shoot down or a bad justified shooting policy – just the same we can expect to see Holder fudge the autopsy into a local race war, which seems to be his intention.

  12. The whole shot in the back BS came from some hoodie who allegedly witnessed the shooting and twittered it into a riot – there’s your inciting to riot perp – but now Holder is in it he will never see a charge.

  13. There’s no chance of anything resembling justice for anyone now.
As in the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case, only two people really know what happened and one of them is now dead.
Between police incompetence, rioting and looting and the predictable arrival of the usual race-mongers and victimologists, any possibility of ever coming to grips with the truth about the shooting has been lost.

  14. How could a bullet or a couple of bullets enter, exit, and reenter a number of times?
Ken(kulak)…the same way that JFK’s bullets could go around corners!Darn smart bullets. This has been a farce from the gitgo and will be until the end. No truth will come out with Holder(or any of this “government”) in charge

  15. “…All police are trained to empty the magazine…”
Really? Must have missed that part.

  16. The “kid” was an 18-year-old man who was 6’4″ and about 300 pounds who, it appears, had gotten away and then returned, charging at the cop, hopped up on (at least) adrenaline. And no police department on the continent has a “shoot to wound” policy.
I was willing to wait for some facts to come out and didn’t support the cop right out of the chute but the entire MSM narrative has completely crumbled just from what we know so far just like it did for Trayvon so I see the cops’ (and cop’s) version being the most likely.

  17. Ken, if Brown was trying to grab the officer’s gun a bullet could have gone through his thumb and then into his arm further back. Note that most of the injuries are to his right arm & shoulder area. Hold your hand out like a gun and have a friend lunge forward to grab your finger (making pew, pew, pew sounds is optional) and see what part of the body any bullets would strike.
As to the lack of powder burns I’m not sure that is significant, it might very well be an outdated criteria. To prevent muzzle flash, which will blind the shooter at night, a very fast powder is used so that it is all burnt before the bullet leaves the barrel. If the powder is totally consumed before the bullet leaves the barrel there can be no powder burns as the powder will have been converted into gases. Tests would have to be made with ammunition from the same manufacturing lot and in the same length barrel to determine whether powder burns are possible or not.

  18. If one puts away their own biases and the resulting fiasco and look at hard facts. The kid was unarmed. It makes one suspect, when police release video allegedly showing the teenagers shoplifting but refuse to release any information about the shooting itself. This could lead one to believe they are waiting for witness and hidden citizen video to makes it rounds beforehand that may contradict the official story if one wants to wildly speculate and draw conclusions from the data to date. All I know is shooting an unarmed man in a hail of bullets from 35 feet away is hard to justify in any circumstance.

  19. An unarmed big crazed man running at you to beat you up and not obeying police orders?

  20. When he’s a physical monster, and coming at you, does your ‘poor kid’ scenario play out?
The cop was beat up, dont forget………there was a struggle.
The media’s “kid” was anything but.

  21. One can’t help but notice that many media stories still continue to quote Dorian Johnson, Michael Brown’s companion, in their descriptions of events as if Johnson has any credibility whatsoever as a witness.
Add to that the constant use of descriptions of events by people whose presence at the shooting cannot, it would seem, be verified and the use of the photo of Michael Brown sitting in a video arcade when he was about 14 years old and a cynical person might conclude that the media is trying to construct a narrative designed to exacerbate racial tensions and smear the local police.

  22. Exactly! You sum up well what will be the result of this affair. And like the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin case, sides will be taken by the general public and the debate will go on and fuel more civil unrest during the next similar event.
What is also terribly wrong is that the POTUS and AG publicly throwing fuel on the fire. The race-baiters like Sharpton and Jackson should be criminally charged.

  23. Well this is just yet another example of why the cops are militarizing. Their marksmanship is shoddy at best and pi$$ poor at worst. All those shots should have hit the chest – especially at the ranges they were shooting at.
I see our own RCMP shooting and those boys, mostly – are pathetic marksmen. I tried to tell them that once at our gun club and was told that these kids were trained officers and new what they were doing. For gawdsakes – they were shooting at a silhouette target on a roving bot at 75 yards – off the bench! And missing! I got so damned mad I opened up on it with my AR to SHOW those jack holes that they needed to train off their hind feet rather than the bench…and was politely asked/told to leave the range when they saw how badly their target perforated. I didn’t mean to embarrass or shame them – but they are not shooting well because they are not training well. I think that is largely because the RCMP is run by old liberal dead wood that think they have some kind of image to retain at all costs. The sad fact of the matter is our cops, more often than not – can’t shoot.

  24. It appears that the police officers firearm is shooting a bit to the left which accounts for all those hits to the right arm … he needs to get that sight adjusted ASAP. Who knows what that big simian might have done to him if those last couple hadn’t hit him in the head area.

  25. If one puts away their own biases and the resulting fiasco and look at hard facts.
    Ok, that’s sensible.
    The kid was unarmed.
Oops, you have revealed your bias. MB was not a ‘kid’. He was a large man who didn’t need a weapon to be dangerous.
It makes one suspect, when police release video allegedly showing the teenagers shoplifting but refuse to release any information about the shooting itself.
Oops, more bias. Immediately releasing all information pertaining to a death is rarely a sensible or responsible thing for a govt official to do, esp. in an emotionally charged, highly political climate saturated with opportunists looking to push a variety of agendas. In accordance with the pattern it has displayed for the last 50 years, most of the media has rapidly published multiple, highly contradictory accounts based on unnamed or sketchy sources while race hustlers and criminal apologists have flooded the area and the airwaves, stirring up civil unrest and encouraging violence and property destruction. Quite typically, the media has treated agitators as if they are agents of peace and rationality even as the agitators promote mob behavior and conflict.
The events surrounding the shooting are being deliberately shaped in the realm of public perception and the police department knows it. The department also knows that the Obama administration would rather have the media talk about how racist America is than about how corrupt and incompetent the Obama administration is and so it knows that it will be bullied by the national govt to sacrifice one of its officers in order to appease people who ultimately don’t give a damn about justice or the death of MB.
The slow, cautious release of information by the Ferguson PD isn’t at all suspicious. How can FPD be blamed for making an effort to contradict, with facts, the attempt by the media to create the impression that MB was an innocent and gentle child? It is also consistent with a legitimate attempt to determine the truth. Maybe it took a few days for the police to acquire and analyze the QT security tape to be sure that MB was the man shown in the robbery. Autopsies take time. Bullets fragment both inside and outside a human body. Wounds from ricochets and debris can appear to be entry points for bullets at first glance. Suspicion of the PD in the community is high, or so it is implied by the media. Crime in the community is high. Issuing inaccurate information early could jeopardize both police credibility and taint any criminal or civil legal proceedings that may result from the shooting.
All I know is shooting an unarmed man in a hail of bullets from 35 feet away
Your use of the needlessly inflammatory phrase ‘hail of bullets’ and your blind acceptance of the claim that the shooting occurred when MB was 35 feet away from the officer suggests to me that you have already made a judgement to condemn the police.
I won’t claim to know whether or not the shooting was justified, but there is just too much history of the subversion by the Professional Left, by players of the ‘ghetto lottery’ and by criminal elements within the black urban underclass of the legitimate processes of determining facts and seeing that justice is served to be rushed into judgement.

  26. I believe the statistics show that shots fired by the police in the line of duty only hit their target about 20% of the time. Something about adrenaline surges and the possibility of getting killed seems to affect the marksmanship of even highly trained people. Fortunately for the cops, the marksmanship of gang bangers is far, far worse.

  27. ” if I had two or three sons , they might have looked and weighed like Mark Brown” Obama
they should be able to tell whether his hands were up or down when he was coming at the cop since its now obvious he was attacking

  28. I think the lesson to be learned from all of this is when a cop shoots you in the arm, stop coming towards him. If you don’t stop, one will be coming towards your head and since you are now closer his aim will be better.
As for the cops markmanship, we dont know how many shots were fired or from what distance. Until we know this, its all just speculation.

  29. Local SWAT teams are proliferating and they are increasingly using military equipment. The 9/11 attacks provided a pretext for the distribution of light military armored vehicles to local communities and to set up a national command structure for local SWAT teams under the control of the Department of Homeland Security. The vast data gathering efforts of the federal govt and the use of advanced analytics to identify and target political dissent coupled with what appears to be the construction of a militarized, nationally controlled police force would have been enough to make Erich Honecker green with envy.
Good thing a totalitarian govt could never arise in the U.S.

  30. Understand that in the minds of a racist like Eric Holder, whites are responsible for every single issue that ails the black community. Everything is whitie’s fault.
So when a white cop shoots a black, Holder cannot wait to meddle and abuse the power of the Attorney General’s office. Stir the pot. Stoke the false narrative. Feed the race mongerers. Never before has there been such ploiticising of the AG’s office as there is under Holder.
Obama is the same. His wife too.
These people don’t care about truth or honesty or decency. They have agendas.

  31. Um, looking at this ‘diagram’, I notice that there are six entry wounds, but no exit wounds, not even in the arms.
Not one of these bullets went through? Even in his arms?
I admit I have zero experience with being shot, seeing someone who’s been shot, or looking at a bullet wound, but it seems quite difficult to me for four bullets to hit his arm without leaving a single exit wound.
So, I’m kinda skeptical about the validity of this ‘report’.

  32. I suspect that particular diagram shows the entry wounds while others plus the narrative tell details. The doctor apologizes that his presentation does not please you.
The shot in the top of the head may very well have been after the other shots took effect, as he was going down.
This autopsy corroborates the witness statements is he was running backwards with his head bent over backwards. Let’s get some obstruction of justice charges against the lying witnesses for all the grief they’ve caused.

  33. Northernont, the thug was shoplifting…. at least up to the point when he and his accomplice went to leave the store and the storekeeper tried to block his exit. At that point he assaulted the storekeeper and shoved him into a display rack. A storekeeper who was about half his size, and no physical match for him. That raises the stakes from “shoplifting” to “robbery with violence”, aka “strongarm robbery”, which is a much more serious offence.
I put no blame on the cop at all. The thug created the circumstances that led to his own death. He robbed a store, then went swaggering down the street, walking in the middle of the road, obstructing traffic, which was what prompted the cop to stop him. Had he not robbed the store, probably he wouldn’t have swaggered down the street, and he would have lived. Had he robbed the store, but not stupidly swaggered down the street, he would have lived. Had he moved to the sidewalk, when ordered by the cop, he would have lived. Had he submitted to arrest, rather than try to grab the cop’s sidearm, he would have lived. The thug had a death wish. Suicide by cop.

  34. All the wounds are consistent for a man, with his head slightly down, charging at the shooter.
Police Glocks or M+P’s usually have a trigger pull of 8-12 lbs and cause the shooter to pull his shots to the left. This would account for the wounds on the right side of the perp.

  35. As one poster said at Calgary Sun:
“in all this not one pair of workboots were stolen…”

  36. Please change your moniker because you’re embarrassing everyone in Northern Ontario with your ignorance.
The Obama administration told the Ferguson police dept not to release the video of the robbery. It was all part of the narrative they wanted to maintain. When the FPD realized they were being thrown under the bus – with the BS occupation of the State Police – they released the video. The kid was one of two suspects in the robbery and the officer probably heard on police radio a description of the perps — one being very big and wearing the same clothes Brown was wearing. Perhaps the cop asked him what he was doing (it was very near the scene of the robbery) and the kid realized the jig was up and he was going to jail as he was on probation for another charge.
Every bullet entry point shows he was facing the officer. Obviously all the ‘witnesses’ who stated otherwise are liars. A video shows (audio portion) that another witness said Brown was running at the officer. Lets see you keep calm and cool and not fire your weapon at a 6’4″ 290 pound angry young man charging you. If that were me I would have done the same thing. A mere tackle from someone of that size on a paved road could kill you.
The Brown family lawyer has admitted it was their kid in the video stealing the cigars and assaulting the clerk. It was not a hail of bullets….it was six and four appear to have struck Brown’s arm – which wouldn’t stop anyone from continuing their attack toward the shooter.
Your ignorance is frightening. Please think and get some facts before you speak.

  37. As Mark Steyn says, on the basis of probably more experience with police in his quiet neck of the woods than he would
care for, it is a deliberate and conscious decision of police not to put dash cams on their cars.
Hang the uniformed goon who started all this.
No doubt the incompetent and brutal police are used to keep a felonious and brutalized underclass under control. The
deceased was a tough, of course. He was a tough last month, he was a tough six months ago, he was no doubt
a robber who enjoyed beating up children a year ago. There was no riot last month; none a year ago. Then the uniformed
goon developed some big ideas. Hang him.
And then you wonder why the RCMP interprets Canadian gun laws according to its whims.
BTW according to Mark Steyn no record is kept in the US of violent actions by the police.

  38. Yeah well, the exit wound in the top of the head indicates the bullet track was from below….only possible if the subject was above the LEO or they were engaged in close combat.
In fact ALL the entry/exit wounds are consistant with contact discharges.
The available information rules out a fleeing subject, or 35 ft range except for MAYBE the arm wounds…..but even those are also consistant with CLOSE COMBAT.
This would indicate this TRAYVON engaged a real cop….hence the multiplicity of rounds fired. Zimmerman did it with one (1). There is such a thing as luck notwithstanding.
    Brown shoulda run…

  39. Well, class warfare would explain why the looters were stealing liquor and hair weaves.
John Lewis is an excellent choice for a troll name btw.

  40. If the story doesn’t fit the Media or race accusations, than double down on the parts that don’t fit the fairy tale. The usual Obama manoeuvre. Nice distraction from the coming mid term election especially after the disaster of Obamacare. If this would have been your usual gang banner story of black on black murder, does anyone think for one second it would have made the news. Al Sharpton would have been the ghost he always is when people die from the knock-out game.
This is just another Trayvon story blowing up in the White houses media hound dogs.
The city of Ferguson is going Detroit.
Mean while the border invasion has stopped being news. How convenient for the liberals.

  41. There was a shoe store looted. I’ll bet there are some Nikes missing.
Too bad the looters didn’t steal some belts or suspenders.

  42. So now that evidence seems to have emerged that MB was a strong-arm robber and had MJ in his system, what other damaging evidence about MB’s character will eventually come out?
    * Use of other drugs?
    * Discipline problems at school?
    * Extensive juvenile record that has been sealed?
    * Alien DNA?
    * Republican voter registration?
    * My Little Pony tats?
