  1. I would never darken the doors of that fascist establishment.
Despite their lies claiming they support us, they do not support the people of Alberta.

  2. I am confused. Do they manufacture make-up for drunks, or from drunks? Is it carbon neutral?

  3. So they want Albertans cash, but do not support the fact that Albertans are smart enough to profitably clean up the largest natural oil spill known to mankind.
And in classic POHM whinging proudly proclaim we will take your money even though we do not approve of how you came by it.
    Uh huh.
See we need a tax on all do-gooder, these insufferable fools need driven out of civil society.
On a similar note Anthony Watts over at WUWT has some suggestions for this years bloggies, seems good to me.

  4. Consumers can boycott lushes radical anti-Canadian stance.
Buy Israeli AHAVA products on the net, they are so good the loonies of the left hate them.
    Available also at the Bay.

  5. I do some R&D consulting for a major cosmetics company, trust me, women do not want to know what’s in that stuff. Having said that, given the ratio of content to packaging on cosmetics, you start at about 50% petroleum product before you get to the product ingredients.

  6. As has already been mentioned, it would not take much to push back hard on this. Simply release the ingredients and you will have cut them off at the knees. Then follow up with an expose on their links to fascism and animal testing. Within a week they would be begging to be put out of their misery.
BTW, why do some take so much umbrage to the words “Tar Sands”? That is what they have been called for, well, ever. Until recently anyway. Besides, it bugs them when you do not go all sideways when they try to malign you with their childish bigotry.

“Can Saudi women purchase LUSH products on their own?”
    Indeed.
LUSH is probably satisfied with the fact that they can’t personally drive carbon monoxide emitters to go buy them in the first place.

  8. Good point. When I took a petroleum geology course in university, they were “The Athabaska Tar Sands”. I accept the fact that “oil sand” is the proper geological description, but I also accept the fact that many geological concepts may have common names that date from ages ago.
And suppose, for a moment, that those sands were, in fact, saturated with actual “tar”? And that we were able to to mine the sand, extract the tar, and make it into crude oil, and do all that profitably? What difference would it make?
I say, call them the “Athabaska Money Sands”, and be done with it.

  9. TrueNorth, for the same reason people don’t accept the ‘denier’ label regarding AGW. It’s been appropriated by the opposition as a slag. Words change meaning depending on context.

  10. LUSH – environmental whoring to help
peddle illusions and make big bucks.
    That’s synergy on steroids.
