Palin & Romney – So Stoopid!

“The 80’s called, they want their foreign policy back.” – Barack Obama, to Mitt Romney
From the Telegraph, in the UK:
Wow. Mrs Palin not only got the country that Putin would threaten right, she also predicted the reason behind it. Obama’s “indecision and equivalence” over Iran, Egypt and, most importantly, Syria, has probably encouraged Putin to believe that there would be next-to-no Western response to an attack on Ukraine.

Rachel Maddow concluded, “It’s not just that Romney is uninformed; it’s that he hasn’t figured out how to fake it.”
Obama has become the anti-Theodore Roosevelt. He speaks loudly and carries a small stick.
“People are looking at Putin as one who wrestles bears and drills for oil,” she said. “They look at our president as one who wears mom jeans and equivocates and bloviates.”
Conservatives quickly rallied behind Palin, whose treatment at the hands of the national media they’ve long deemed unfair. Talk radio host Mark Levin tweeted, “Palin not only knows where Russia is, but she knew what Putin would do to Ukraine with Obama as president.”

Twitter allows Schadenfreude to be deliciously delivered, right to the source of the amusement.

  1. “Obama has become the anti-Theodore Roosevelt. He speaks loudly and carries a small stick.”

Reminds me of this totally, delightfully apocryphal Putin quote:

“Negotiating with Obama is like playing chess with a pigeon: The pigeon knocks over all the pieces, shits on the board, and then struts around like it won the game.”

As for *Rachel Maddow” calling Mitt Romney uninformed, that’s like Gary Coleman mocking Shaquille O’Neal for being short. Maddow is a perfect storm of ignorance and insufferable smugness, which I’ve always found to be a truly appalling combination. She and Bill Maher are in a class of their own.

  2. Sarah Palin is a clever person, with good instincts. She is regarded as stupid by people who are
themselves intellectually challenged; who echo the party line, and who never think for themselves.
Ah yes, Schadenfreude ist die beste Freude!!!!

  3. Palin was character assassinated by the leftist media who realized that she was a real threat.

  4. She knew her neighbors. Smart people should always keep a eye on their neighbors if they have a history of being anti-neighborly. She did a good job of running Alaska, but as seen too often, Democrats dislike anyone who succeeds or is endowed with common sense. That’s why they re-elected Obama.

  5. Leftists would rather chew off their own legs than admit that Sarah Palin (and Romney, for that matter) was right about this. Indeed, she is a lot smarter than they give her credit for and that makes them hate her even more. Everyone was warned in 2008 a la Iran, Georgia and Russia and again in 2012 when they made Romney into a laughing stock. Who’s laughing now (aside from Putin)? The American electorate and the world can suck it. It’s learned nothing from Hitler and it won’t learn a thing now.
As for the response to Russia’s invasion and occupation of Ukrainian territory and what China will do next, who is willing to withdraw from the UN or expel Russia from the G8?
    Didn’t think so.

  6. Dennis Kucinich (Democrat far left) was just on Fox O’Reily. He blamed the Obama State Dept & Activist Groups for destabilizing the Ukraine
I agree with Dennis (he said something truthful) The Democrats have a problem (Obama & Hillary) that will destroy the MSM
myths and all the lies about Obama. Blood in the water
The talking heads are all for Boycotts. Hmm that worked so well (NOT) when the US boycotted Steel to Japan. What stupid a##holes. Time to punt Obama

  7. I see,and Obama’s current actions are merely to make the Russians and Chinese overconfident before he lowers the boom!
The man’s a goddamned genius! Had me completely fooled.
Webster Tarpley buys into a lot of conspiracy theories, doesn’t he.

  8. I might add, that Sarah Palin in 2008 was well-informed for an American, and is better informed now. Her
point about energy and energy politics is rather subtle, and does show a possible way forward for the US
    without use of armed force.
Not that I rule out armed force. In particular many Americans of all stripes have been pushing hatred of
Russia – this probably had a lot to do with American actions in Ukraine; and could get out of hand.

  9. Just more proof that people recognize “Progressive Speak”
Palin derangement syndrome brought out all kinds of people to vote for McCain.
Gotta love those electronic voting machine Eh.
If the MSM goes full hate on for anyone, you can be sure they are probably capable intelligent human beings.
If the presstitutes are drooling and slobbering over anyone, you can be pretty sure of their character as well.
So if the media likes any Republican nominee, boot it back into the RINO waste land.

  10. I upset almost everyone in my Canadian neighbourhood, when I firmly planted a McCain/Palin sign in my front yard.
I’m a dual citizen and get to vote absentee.
For the next election, I’d like that sign to read: Palin/Cruz and for them to win it big.
Palin is smart and he greatest strength is that she is fearless. Who else do you hear calling Obama out, directly, plainly, and right to his face on the national news?

  11. Good for you. Palin is upfront, not a devious liar like Obama, Alinsky et al.
One commenter to the Blaze article had a great point that Sarah should have said dress rather than “mom’s Jeans”. Would have been more accurate.

  12. After talking about the “common sense gene,” did Palin say “… wears mom genes”?

  13. Good point about the MSM John. I remember when Preston Manning and the Reform Party were being ridiculed in our media. They made the mistake of listing the policy items being proposed by Reform. Every time I heard one I’d say to myself, “I agree with that”. So I went to the first outreach in our riding and joined.

  14. Yeah well, that sniper thingy is very murky….
The simple answer may be as all shooters are aware….engaging targets where both factions are intermingled inevitably is tricky….people move out of/into the sight picture in a heartbeat.
As far as Obama…..I side with Putin on the chess, playing pigeon rather than Webster Tarpley’s fantasy.
Obama just ain’t smart nor clever…..at best an inept puppet…

  15. @River Rat–I had the same reaction to the Reform Party. All I’d heard about them was from the CBC Maritimes and the Globe and Mail (I was living in Nova Scotia at the time). When I was posted to Edmonton, I started to listen to what the Reform Party actually stood for (seriously, we never heard any of that down East) and I agreed with every point. I backed the Reform Party from then on (and I wasn’t shy about it)…much to the chagrin of my Liberal parents and siblings back in Windsor(the farthest right we ever vote is Liberal), MOROntario.

  16. ..And I’ve respected Sarah Palin since 2007 when the Alaskan National Guard officer I was working with in Afghanistan told me that she visited her (National Guard) troops where ever they were deployed. The respect went even higher when she “dissed” the fake Greek columns in her acceptance speech.

  17. I voted against amalgamating with the PCs every time. What Reform had going was good for Canadians. Less government and more self reliance. We would be a far stronger nation if Reform principals were in play today.

  18. What’s stupid is the US sticking its nose into everybody’s business.
Russia did NOT give an ultimatum for the Ukrainian forces in Crimea to join them, as reported ad nauseum on the US media.
There were no new Russian troops sent to Crimea. They were already there, protecting their naval base in a region that’s right next to their borders.
What would the US do if one of their 70 bases on FOREIGN soil were threatened?
The more this situation unfolds, the more apparent it is that American politicians are a bunch of windbags.

  19. Slap Shot >
    “Dennis Kucinich (Democrat far left)”
I’m not certain about the accuracy of MSM labeling of Dennis Kucinich as “FAR LEFT”. He most definitely is a strait talking opinionated character that has never backed down slamming Emperor Obamba on various issues.
I definitely give him an ounce of respect regardless of whether it’s right/ left affiliations.

  20. Kevin >
“Ukrainian Sniper Attack Was a False Flag Operation”
So my question is where the hell was Pelosi and Hillary during these shootings, Ukraine site seeing mabey?

  21. “What would the US do to protect Guantanamo?”
    — Ron Paul, speaking about US hypocricy on RT two minutes ago.

  22. By gosh did we not just have a lot of troops right over there that george’
