Wanted to interview a grieving mother who’s daughter was shot at her kindergarten graduation? about the fact that a 16 year turned himself in for the crime? Reporters are becoming emotional vampires that think they have a right to intrude, be rude and justify all manner of bad taste in the name of the public’s right to know….. Not that I like reporters/journalists but a clarification:
The daughter was a teenager (not a kindergartner), has been released from hospital and is recovering.
So I’m not sure what the mother would be “grieving”
Although it might be annoying to have a reporter on the sidewalk in front of your home – I’m not sure why that would warrant throwing rocks and sending your dogs after said reporter…especially if you’re the victim in the story. Makes me wonder what the motive for the shooting was and if the girl’s family has something to hide.
People like that tend to chimp out when a white person shows up in their ‘hood.

As much as I wear a merry smile whenever a “journalist” gets crapped on, this is over the top crazy.

I have a certain amount of sympathy for the grey lady’s response to this story.
Yep … this is last week’s news and the reporters don’t get any sympathy from me.
They are parasites and carrion eaters and in this case they ran into a woman just stressed enough to deal with their BS as it deserved to be. As far as I’m concerned lucky that the woman did not bring a gun out.

Are reporters parasites? Yes (indeed, General William Tecumseh Sherman’s view and remedy for them was refreshingly cynical). Could not that lady have declined an interview and gone into her house? She sure could have. What is wrong with that broad, I ask. I know the reporter’s game but what’s hers?
First, I am no fan of some tactics used by media types to get a story. However, on the surface at least, this particular reporter and camera man were clearly on public property and not breaking the law.
The other woman did break one or more laws.
Arrest and prosecute the law breaker. Euthanize the dogs.

Does the reporter have the right to take this poor unfortunate woman welfare check or food stamps just because she paid for those as well?
Of course not, she should be hauled before a Human Rights Commission for upsetting the woman’s dogs, and by default upsetting the black woman.
The TV studio should be sued for not hiring more black people to go into these protected areas.
