  3. There are some on X who say Marine’s support has risen as a result of the recent French riots. If the current President feels that they’re caused by the education budget not being sufficient, then so be it.

    1. Le Pen is currently stepping on her own tongue by saying that “Islam is compatible with the French Republic”. To be fair, she did qualify it by saying Sharia isn’t, but it was a glorious self-own. I don’t think the French citizenry care so much about hijabs, but more about terror and mayhem in their streets. Whether it is or isn’t, that isn’t what her base of support wants to hear right now. Considering how Farage and Meloni have been seen to do nothing, this won’t help her polling numbers. Oh well.

  5. In a macabre and pragmatic way, I’m hoping for a massive spread of these riots to the rest of the EU. The savages don’t understand the concept of moderation, so it’s entirely possible. All that needs to happen is for one EU nation to reverse course and show the rest of the EU the positive results of that turn. My money is on Germany doing just that. Currently, the AfD is growing rather consistently, but riots (like the ones in France) showing up in Dresden, Frankfurt, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne etc…..will light a fire that the elitists can’t stop. They’d have a Majority voting power and the top political slot.

    And, if Germany truly reverses course, they return to the driving economy of the EU. THAT, can’t be ignored. Nor can the constituency of other member states ignore the difference in quality of life.

      I was on (typical Leftie) Reddit today and saw someone comparing the Jan 6 “riot” with those in France.
      I noticed one striking difference; the Jan 6 Rioters had AMERICAN FLAGS, they were for their country! Contrast with France, where most of the flags were Palestinian or other NOT RELATED to the nation they were rioting IN, not FOR.
      Tells you all you need to know!

        Absolutely true. You might recall how much money and pressure the EU “government” invested in removing a certain Hungarian leader less than a year ago. Poland will go so far as shoot anyone attempting to enter illegally. But, both those countries are chastised by the core EU membership and bureaucratic government. It’s not too much different to how “sophisticated” city residents belittle the US “flyover” country. They need a core member to have an epiphany. And, Germany is ripe for the picking.

    2. They’ve already spread to Belgium, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Albania, and probably heating up in Britain. The ‘students’ are starting to mobilize in Germany — they’ll probably be in full mode by the end of the week, and I’d expect the Netherlands to follow suit.

    This is WAR and needs to be thought of as WAR by policy makers.

    Macron and the legacy media report”student protests” with Palestinian flags are understandable and mostly peaceful. The riots in Milan and Lisbon are “cost-of-living” & housing protests. No word yet on whether Jewish shops targeted like in Marseille.
    My wish is for vastly reduced US military presence in Europe to avoid any involvement in future European civil wars.

    One of the commenters on that X thread said it well. When it is no longer FASHIONABLE to support the rioters, all the young women will stop the same day.

    As to the girl who’s crying in front of her store while the rioter pukes rob her, that’s called “Finding Out.” She just Found Out that elections matter, that the cops are useless, and not all people are good people. Oh, and that she’s been living in a frilly little dream world this whole time. That too.

    Kinda like how all the rest of us Found Out in 2020. Six years ago she was probably 12.

    I’d sympathize with the girl but for two things. First, and most important, if you had told her last week that the “students” were going to come and loot her store she would have called you a Nazi. For sure.

    Second, despite the looting she is the luckiest little fluff-brain in Paris today. There were those in the crowd itching to get them a trophy, and they all missed her.

    So instead all I can say is lucky you, little girl. You got away pretty cheap. Maybe reconsider some of those delusions. Probably won’t be lucky twice.

    It is not “suicidal empathy” because it’s not empathy at all. It is bog-standard female intrasexual competition. It’s the same old virtue-signaling, political-opinions-as-fashion, telescopic philanthropy that women have been engaging in since the dawn of the human species.

    So I am going to mock her, Brivael le Pogham, because she is stupid and should know better. Nothing is “misfiring”. There’s no “disease”. It’s just women being women, and because we let them vote now we have to deal with the fallout.

  15. I was reading another thread and someone suggested that France needs to go full El Salvador. Couple that with deportations and France may have a fighting chance to make it through with minimal bloodshed.

    Could be that all of France is tired of their government and wants to burn it down. Wouldn’t be the first time…
