Greeks…orthodox kristians…lefties…stupid….they ran out of money, other ppl’s money:-)))))
opps…wrong thread
Was Justin paid for this speech?
If it was a free speech, who picked up his expenses?
Justin managed to spend $50,000 on travel plus another $30,000 on accomodation and ‘per diem’ expenses while away from Papineau during the 2012 fiscal year.
He spends more than almost every other MP,yet spoke less in the HofC than all but 3 of the new NDP members and was the lowest of all the Liberal MP’s.
Will Justin post his expenses on-line? Will the CBC post this comment?

I liked it better in the pre Duffy-in-the-Pigpen days.
Those good old days of recent yore when Harper & Co. would have had some moral authority to rub Pierre’s Pup’s nose in his own speaking-fee turds every time he yapped about ethics, use of public’s tax-dollars, etc.
Sigh. Can someone find some Libertarian candidates out there who aren’t old potheads and have some practical suggestions about how a country should be run.
You know, ones that wouldn’t hang around with LAS.
Well they can polish that turd all they want – but French poltroon is what he is…
I’ve been following the hoser royal heir apparent’s sound bites and e ae seeing less gaffes and more direct policy talking point taking the place of his stream of consciousness (unconsciousness?). To me this indicates he is being influenced by party policy wonks and marketers – all the taking points he midlessly repeats recently are bad ju ju for those who hoped he would break with the old us-first destructive leftism of the Laurentian elite.
It won’t be long before the Librano godfathers hollow him out, stick their arm up his butt and work his mouth with their hand. I almost feel sorry for this kid – he was far happier when he was just an upper crust brat living on remittance – at least he had his soul intact before his Faustian transition.
Sorry. I can barely hold back the tears of joy over all the liberals, leftists and Liberals in the CBC comment section that now want an accountable Senate.
8=^!
Expecting top Liberals to relinquish the party discipline so easily imposed
on their inferiors by the slightest hint that one’s dreams of reaching hog
heaven in the Senate are always in play? Do what you are told and who knows?
You might just as easily expect vampires to form an anti blood consumption
coalition as think Quebec Liberals would ever say no to their lifeblood, fed
patronage.
“…Expecting top Liberals to relinquish the party discipline so easily imposed on their inferiors by the slightest hint that one’s dreams of reaching hog heaven…”
True. But it’s the same thing with ALL of the parties, isn’t it?
Hasn’t been a lot of MPs crossing the floor or choosing to sit as Independent members on matters of principle, has there?
Very, very few of them are willing to run the risks of shortened ‘careers’ or advancements denied.
I’d just settle for an accountable parliament Andy.
Governments in Canada need that bloated useless over paid senate to reward their useful idiots. The senate is a pile of bodies that ingest and void and nothing more.
Useful idiots pretty much sums up the problem with the Senate. Abolishing the Senate would solve nothing IMHO. Reform is long overdue. Triple E may re-rear its head for discussion perhaps. Accountability is the latest buzz word, but if there were to be true accountablility, then maybe we would get some politicians we could at least respect if not admire. The trouble I see is that most politicians see there service as a “career” when it should be viewed as a service to the country. Scrap the pension plan for MPs, fire them for incompetence, recall them if not representing their constituents, put in term limits. Put an end to career politicians who are only interested in how they can benefit themselves.
“3. When Justin speaks freely on any issue – within days will be a “corrective article”.”
And it will be ignored.
I have yet to talk to anyone who knows anything about his statements on the senate.
But, they ALL know about Rob Ford.
People will be reminded thanks to some of those “backfiring” attack ads.
The pompous prince of Papineau spent a little over over $ 64,000 of our dime travelling in the fiscal year 2012.
The distance between Montreal and Ottawa is 200K,124 miles,a 2 hour drive,3 hours if traffic is heavy.
Yeah,Justin feels the pain of the middle class. The pp of P was not only was born with a silver spoon in his mouth,we paid for the GD thing.
Perhaps one of our ‘crack’ investigative news teams could look into his expenses,if they are not too busy with other important matters.
i got laid-off, so no mo $$ to them from moi!
wally
“Perhaps one of our ‘crack’ investigative news teams”
U pickin on the Red Star agin, Ford would be pleased to be relieved of these incompetents!!!!
CBCpravda will always have his back
The bit.ly link leads to a CBC page, the most important thought on which is:
“While the Liberal Leader was short on specifics …”
Kim Justin-il should rub his few brain cells together and let us know when he comes up with something specific. We won’t hold our breath.
Our very, very own Barack Obama! I’m SO proud to be a Canadjun.
