If Islam is the religion of peace then why is every Islamic country at odds with their Christian neighbors to the point of genocidal expulsion. The way to destroy Christianity is to infiltrate under peaceful methods and once the numbers are favorable the destruction can begin. Sheep living among the wolves (literally) may see the problem but will look the other way in case they offend a wolf. That’s where we are today, sheep hoping that wolves will become vegetarians. I have read the Bible and the Koran and can safely predict that the Koran is a cook book on how to eat sheep. The scarier part of this ,is that millions of Canadians agree with her.
It is mass psychosis,or very close to that. I think the psychiatric term is ‘compartmentalization’. We are slowly becoming a nation of ‘Stepford Wives’.
This is being played up as the first terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11. It is not. The Beltway snipers(which she missed,how!!!),the Fort Hood shootings,and Benghazi,are three that come to mind. The Colorado theatre massacre may also be linked to islam, the murderer has now declared his devotion to allah.
As of now,these are relatively isolated incidents,but they will increase and increase expotentially. We are being led down the garden path by our politicians and most media.

Irshad Manji made a great point with respect to the violence rooted in Islam. In the same way that an alcoholic has to first admit that he has a problem in order to stand a chance of overcoming it, Islam has to recognize that it has within it core elements that make it more prone to violence than other religions. In order to be real adults, there has to be an adult recognition of those proclivities within the Islamic faith. The capacity to overcome and reinterpret those passages in the Koran which create and propel those proclivities can, as it has for the Ismailis and the Bahais, lead to a very warm and wonderful spirituality, but to be treated as adults one has to behave as adults. Ward’s obfuscation and denial is utterly juvenile.

Everyone was willing to speculate when they suspected the bombing was the work of a white culprit. Now it is improper to speculate. Deflection and denial. The Russians did it. The leftists here do it. Expect more of this in the days ahead.

The fact is, everything one does IS comprehensible to the doer, IS justified to the doer, and the only clouded thinking is hers because she fanatically rejects that an inordinate number of people who commit these acts have Islam in common as thee basis for their comprehensible justification for doing the acts.
Ward knows this, our government knows this, and yet they all refuse to face the solution to the problem which is to apply sanctions to the ideology which justifies these heinous acts as normal sacred worship within a totalitarian death cult.
Muslims do these acts because the Koran tells them Allah will reward them for it.
Fact is, when Allah’s prophet Mohammed walked this earth, he rewarded his followers for exactly the same sort of bloody mayhem.
Mohammed is the perfect Muslim man and people who act like good Mohammedans do these sort of things to infidels.

The amazing thing is that Meed-Ward has been spouting the same for years, going back to Coren’s previous program on CTS (the better of the two programs, IMO) even though her points of view on terrorism have been destroyed throughout that entire period. BTW, Marianne, the proper syntax is “couldn’t” care less, not “could”. How did she ever graduate high school, let alone to receive a journalism degree from a post-secondary institution?
In her opening salvo Ms Ward said something to the effect that “She could not fathom the cause”….and therein lies the problem…they just don’t GET it!

Perhgaps she should spend some time and read Mirriam Websters Learner’s Dictionary. The definitions provided are used to teach people what commonly used words mean in context when communicating in english.
Mischief noun
1: behavior or activity that is annoying but that is not meant to cause serious harm or damage

2: a playful desire to cause trouble

That was the absolute worst thought process I have ever seen on TV. I am actually in a state of shock to see someone so willfully ignore reality in order to desperately clutch on to her own liberal religion. Does she actually believe what she just said? If so then I now understand exactly how Hitler came to power. That was actually highly disturbing and wasn’t funny at all.
The whole root cause issue is pure bs; it assumes there’s some magic cure for terrorism (and presumably crime) out there we just have to find it. There isn’t, it’s quite complex with lots of duplicity to muck through. That’s the problem with JT’s comments because there can never be one or two measures we can take to root out this problem and a national leader should be aware of that and certainly not try to score points out of it.
