Neighbors say three have been arrested in New Bedford in connection with the Boston Bombing suspect.
Police apprehended suspects from the Hidden Brook Apartments on Carriage Drive in New Bedford. Neighbors say they think that the girlfriend of 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev may have lived in the complex and they have seen him in the area as recently as yesterday.
It appears that the younger brother is pinned down in a boat parked in a backyard.

Obama and the FBI are dislocating elbows patting themselves on the back. But just two years ago, the FBI had a tip-off from a foreign government on the older brother, investigated him fully, cleared him, then disregarded a trip to Russia and then they post pictures of him asking the public if anyone knows who this guy is? How could he not have been on a watch list? How could they not have his picture in a file that would be compared to the suspect pictures? Is this just monumental incompetence or a direct result of Obama’s view that Islamophobia is the much greater threat than jihadism? And it will be interesting to see what might come out as to why the brother was cleared at the initial tip. How much is the FBI budget? This is amazing!

Absolute madness, but it suits the purposes of a government that wants to take total control of its citizens. Idiot. The “lockdown” was not mandatory. People were free to walk around but as you saw most people figured that with a well armed terrorist on the loose it wasn’t a good idea to be walking the streets.

Boston was a no-fly zone, public transit was shut down, offices, schools, stores, were closed, citizens advised by law enforcement officers to stay in their homes … That’s not closing down a city?

People were asked to stay in their homes VOLUNTARILY. Yes PUBLIC transport, PUBLIC schools were closed but no one was force to stay in their homes. If you wanted to come face to face with a mad man on the run who had bombed innocent people and injured 15 police officers and thrown bombs at them it was your choice. Most people who faced that choice decided to stay in. But everyone’s freedumb was preserved. Personally I think this was handled exactly right.

I am truly disappointed with the lack of diversity in contemporary terrorist events. Obviously, inequitable power structures and Muslim male privilege has resulted in widespread discrimination against aspiring non-Muslim terrorists across the entire industry. Such inequality is unacceptable in this day and age, and the government should surely enact regulations to create a more inclusive environment for terrorists of all colours, creeds, and sexual orientations.
