The decision to honor Ibrahim reflects poorly on the State Department, which is either incapable of doing the minimum amount of research required to find out who she is, or does not care that the secretary of state and First Lady are about to honor an anti-Semite who longs for violence against Americans. It’s understandable that now with Islamists having come to the fore after all the hope that the Egyptian uprising inspired, American policymakers are looking for the good guys, real liberal activists that deserve U.S. support. Samira Ibrahim is not one of them.
Perhaps the wily US State Department has lured this terrorist supporter to Washington so she can be attacked by drone strike. What other explanation can there be?

All that is, Kate, is the delivery and service entrance to a Muslim bomb factory. A Muslim child’s only purpose in life is to kill as many Christian and Jewish children as he can.
In a world run by sensible people, Ibrahim’s visit to the Christian world would be the perfect opportunity to put the bomb factory out of commission by whatever means is considered appropriate. Once it is appreciated that there are not enough good Christian homes for all their pups, spaying and neutering Muslims is the only humane way short of putting them down of keeping their population to a manageable size.
By manageable, I mean small enough to make their making war on Christians and Jews impossible. If we can spend money on maintaining stocks of smallpox, I can acquiesce to keeping a few hundred on a reserve ringed with barbed wire and far from the nearest paved road, on the off chance a future scientist can learn something useful from studying them. The hour is late for the rest to join their prophet.

I’m chilling, mellowing out in recent years and am just enjoying the show. BUT, nothing gets my goat more than all those people, including many conservatives, who call Obama a standard “liberal” who’s just incompetent. Not so. He’s extremely, frighteningly competent, to such an extent that I’m starting to kinda admire the pryck.
I like how a recent blog headline put it about Chavez whilst announcing the joyful news of his farm purchase: Obama’s Less Media-savvy Comrade. And Hillary Clinton is a commie too, make no mistake about that; and she thoroughly researched her chosen right-hand woman at state, that Muslim Sister, wife of the wanker, um, weiner.
Obama greases the palms of those he favours. I hope the American Jewish electorate is happy with their decision in November.

The focus should be on the State Dept. I don’t think it is displaying incompetence but rather the will of the deeply entrenched bureaucracy of progressives that has existed for decades. I recently finished reading a book on the decades long negotiations between Washington and Pyongyang under Kim Sr. and Kim Jr. and Bush Sr., Clinton and Bush the Younger.
It was clear that nothing would change at State, regardless of who occupied the White House. State had it’s own agenda and could be only incrementally moved, even with conservative stalwarts like John Bolton supposedly ‘in charge’.
Under Obama, the State Dept. finally feels it can give full rein to the progressive agenda that has always underpinned it’s long standing bureaucracy.

You have to remember this is the same State Department that armed the Taliban to fight for “freedom” in Libya while Canadians were fighting the Taliban in Afganistan.
The same State Department that armed moslems in Yugoslavia and got Canada to help bomb the Serbs, created the Arab Spring for destabilizing the middle east, they put the Kosovo Liberation Army in charge of helping to rebuild Haiti and now they are arming moslem rebels in Indonesia.
