‘Well, the press release is a bit strange, because it sounds like it is talking about the Aldrin et al paper which was published some time ago, to no great fanfare. I don’t know if they have a further update to that.
Anyway, there have now been several recent papers showing much the same – numerous factors including: the increase in positive forcing (CO2 and the recent work on black carbon), decrease in estimated negative forcing (aerosols), combined with the stubborn refusal of the planet to warm as had been predicted over the last decade, all makes a high climate sensitivity increasingly untenable. A value (slightly) under 2 is certainly looking a whole lot more plausible than anything above 4.5.’

But a silver lying to the Greenie mess is their vaunted wind turbines only last 15 years so taxpayers subsidies won’t be as large as the ecogrifters planned.

But I was promised global warming, in writing,by my government.
The GNWT stated that co2 emissions will cause the planet to warm, no quibbles no IPCC weasel words, they stated this as fact.
I want that warming, Canada would boom with a couple of degrees C warming and my fuel bill would be much reduced.
These bureaucrats have caused all costs to rise here, especially oil products, to encourage us to transition to nonexistent alternatives.
I may have to sue my “Dear Leaders” for breach of contract.

No, it’s the oil companies that set the price for oil products. Residents in the NWT are finally paying less-subsidized energy costs.
North of 60, its news to me, that the oil companies just imposed a toll on all freight coming north from Providence,
that the road fuel tax is set by petrocanada?
That we pay road taxes on our boat and snowmobile gas at the bequest of oil companies.
And the ever increasing regulation and imposition of bureaucratic cost is the work of big oil.
Here I was blaming our corrupt and useless MLAs and the true govt, the bureaus.
If you don’t like the taxes the government charges to deliver services where you live then go live somewhere else. Do you think the rest of Canada’s taxpayers should pay more to subsidize your lifestyle so you don’t have to pay the real cost of living where you do? You folks have been getting a free ride at our expense for far too long. Welcome to the real world. BTW if you did a little homework you would find that you can apply to get a tax rebate for off-road fuel.
