The scientists whose names appear below have not only been examining one of the world’s most important questions for the IPCC. They have a documented, public relationship with professional lobbyists who have a strong interest in influencing this matter. The people on the list below either played some role in the 2007 Climate Bible or are helping to write the next IPCC report which is expected to be completed in 2013. In many cases, they’re doing dual duty.
I don’t have a lot of time right now, but I googled some of the names on the list to try to get some idea of their training and credentials. It can be surprisingly difficult–to the point where I question whether some of the people on the list actually qualify as “scientists”. That is perhaps unfair, because I haven’t done an exhaustive search. These are the first 3 names I picked at random and the snippets are either their position or something they have published.

Kind of chilling isn’t it? Perhaps more activism than actual scientific work? Might be worth checking into a few more names.
But the World Wrestling Federation would not want to be associated with those phonies.
The Intergovernmental panel on Climate Change itself is a fine name for what they do, which is advocate the position that climate change is an issue of such pressing importance that the UN have to create an Intergovernmental Panel to sell the CRISIS!!! to western populations and advocate the ridiculous idea that humans can change the global climate.
There is zero chance the rent seekers who populate the IPCC will say, “Gee, climate change is natural, it’s happening all the time, studies show there is no crisis and even if there were humans couldn’t mitigate the climate change, and then they all resign and go looking for another job.
The IPCC is and always has been a paid advocate of AGW, even their name says so.

Because nobody does hypocrisy like environmentalists.
I am sure David Suzkookie will be doing back-to-back episodes of The Nature of Things revealing this information to Canadians, Peter Pansbridge will lead the news with it and Andrew Weaver, the next time he gets a public mike on Bill Good’s “show” will apologize and publicly resign rather than be associated with such a corrupt organization as the IPCC.
I am sure that will all happen.
Oz is right, the IPCC is an advocate for AGW not an objective organization. Ever noticed that their “random” errors and unfortunate inclusions of non-peer reviewed work are 100% pro-AGW? In what world is that considered random? Not a scientific one.

Abolish the UN, any organization that grants an outfit like IPCC a Bully Pulpit in order to promote their radical agenda does not deserve to survive on the publis dime.They are now little more than a venue for third world countries to whine for more dollars, which they immediately spend on more arms in order to subjagate their own citizens.

The IPCC is not and has never been an agency searching for truth. It is an agenda-driven organization.
