  1. Being a pre-boomer I have watched organization after organization moving from the direction and care of the Greatest Generation to the first decade of Boomers. The effect has been increased compensation and benefits for the management followed with buy offs of all employees who have any clout.
The result seems frequently to be a non competitive private company moving off shore, or a protected market if enough votes are available, and ever increasing benefits for individuals contributing to society through political activities.
I apologize for this rant based on nothing but personal observation and I guess personal bias as one of the dumb ones who just could not cheat or knowingly take advantage of the unaware. But dang it all; am I alone in feeling this way? Cheers

  2. Mike, you are not alone. I have watched the degeneration of so many of our institutions, that the founders of them, would puke if they could see the corruption of their ideals now. The scum of the earth have coagulated into taking over the money sides of every charity I can think of. Lotta Hitch Manova would be ashamed of the Al Gores/David Suzukis/Greenpeacers/sierra club WWF sleazes that take old ladies money for saving something that needs not saving, but the old ladies money was so easy to steal, shame, something also from the past.

  3. Sadly no Ken. As for the HSUS, just one word. Criminal. OK two, Moral Criminal.
There lobbying probably had something to do with 6 year old Felix Lanciault being punished by his Quebec teacher for bringing his sandwich to school in a zip-lock baggie. environmentalshamegame

  4. According to the BBB, the chief executive of the HSUS makes a salary of $234,000. Sweet. I’m sure that she and her fellow board members only voted themselves those pay raises in order to better help fido and fluffy.

  5. Prior to the Ontario HS being high-jacked by the animal rights loons….it was dominated by a family of Brits. Every member of the board was a son daughter, son in-law….Not one had any crecentials but they all commanded salaries like auto execs.and new office furniture and fittings every year.
A HS in this region had it’s “adoption rate” and “humane”
practices exposed when it’s “gas chamber” for “putting animals to sleep” exploded because of an electrical fault. They were using Natural Gas…….
They went to court when the local government opted for an alternate service with properly credentialed staff, who tendered a bid less than half to perform “animal control”…..they lost…..
