  1. Whether it’s climate change, rights and freedoms, gender, internet censorship, or immigration, Canada’s Conservative Parties have painted themselves into every ideological corner that matters. And they’re doomed to stay there because they lack the courage and honesty to say, ” We were wrong. We have to change direction.”

    2. Sounds like the UK – Farage talks a lot but denounces Tommy Robinson and is cool with Islam. The man to his Right is Rupert Lowe who has a son who just married a Muslim. The rest are all Leftists – either Left or Far left.

  2. This seems to be the case for all opposition parties – especially the “conservative”ones. They are far too caught up in left-wing ideology to offer a real alternative, all they can offer is Liberal or NDP light. When they do win an election, they try to play within the field defined by the leftists. They need to communicate a genuine alternative, a genuine conservative option, one that has to start with Canada was always, compared to all the rest, one of the best most tolerant, peaceful and prosperous countires in the world. They’re going to be called racists, fascists, etc. anyways, so just go for it.

    1. Yes, pur laine cannibal conservatives acting on personal principal. All they have to do in BC, besides checking their stubborn egos at the door, is reintroduce voters to common sense politics because the inept BC NDP, their China ferries, now ridiculous resource epiphany and a host of other fiscal disasters, abysmal judgment and stale Trump tantrums makes this gang unelectable, with daily stories of NDP voters going not Green but Conservative, making this election call Eby’s jump the shark moment, irritated voters now looking for change.

      Right up there with Singh’s disastrous management of NDP power politics. I doubt Eby will get away with this.

      We shall see. One Angus Reid poll swing does not win an election, but it’s a good start.

      BTW, totally agree on the Liberal lite play it safe error. Chart your own course Conservatives, present a cogent plan to the people. If you can’t work with each other how can you expect voters to let you work for them?

      Like to think maybe they’re seeing that.

    2. Exactly. The Conservatives need to start acting like Conservatives. They tremble in their boots at the thought of the media calling them the usual names. They need to just ignore the media and put forward some really conservative solutions, the common-sense things that so many people are demanding, and let the media run out of epithets and start foaming at the mouth, revealing to all just how corrupted they are.

      One would almost think that the Liberals have infiltrated the Conservative parties. Maybe they have. I remember a few years ago some leftist woman wanting to run for the leadership of Alberta’s UCP; she wanted to get a bunch of leftist legislation going. There was plenty of room for her in the NDP sandbox, but no. She was going to corrupt the UCP and take away the only conservative option the voters had. Sure looked like a socialist plot to me.

      The PPC is completely unelectable in this country. Trump got elected three times because the majority of Americans agree with him. The current provincial and federal governments keep getting elected because the majority of Canadians agree with *them*.

      We’ve passed the Bezhmenov Threshold. There’s no fixing this. Get out of this count ry while you still can.

        I was ecstatic that the PPC cost the CPC a *minimum* of 6 seats last election (10 to 24 seats according to other analysts). Next election they will do even better. Screw the Liberal Lite cowards of the ‘Conservative’ Party of Canada.

  3. Every Canadian “Conservative” politician – or wannabe – is no more conservative than Juthtin Trudeau’s taint.
    They’re just as responsible for the Shithole status of Canada as the disgusting Liberals and loopy NDP.
    But trying telling a Conservative voter they’re not actually voting for a conservative politician and they’ll get just as unwound as any Liberal shithead voter.

    2. I have personally experienced the type. These are the people that won’t look past the makeup and would elect a pile of manure as long as it flew the banner of the party.

  4. One big Uniparty grift ladies and gentlemen.
    I was chastised by a B.C. “Conservative” MLA (Caputo is his name I think) when I criticized him for his saccharine laced pandering to the B.C. Indigenous community after a protest by some weird “nationalist” group called the “Second Sons” over the weekend.
    I almost died of 2nd hand embarrassment after reading his tweet.
    They’re all in on the grift.

    1. Absolutely – as it always was.

      Democracy has always been a scam in the west.

      Always.

      Elections were never important – you could either vote for the overt left or the fake right. In either case, the previously agreed upon agenda carried on. The left/right dialectic was always just different blinders on the same horse steering him towards his predetermined course. Though for show, the horse could meander a bit to the right as needed, over which a great spectacle would be made. And then when the show ended, the course would be corrected.

      Any time someone on “the right” somehow got through the quiet behind-the-scenes screening process, the CINO party would weed them out.

    concentrate on strategies to survive the financial and social and legal apocalypse which IS coming.
    establish and maintain concentrated small group and take the time and invest in trusting relationships because once AI obliterates the truth thats ALL youre going to have.

  8. People need to understand that “Progressive Conservative” is an oxymoron.
    Even when the progressive part of the title is dropped it remains progressive and not conservative.
