A Class of Parasite

… called Gutmenschen:

What a wonderfully apt term for the self-righteous public servants for whom diversity really is enriching. How many people in Britain make a living from multiculturalism and “community cohesion”? The number of taxpayer and partly-taxpayer funded government bodies, community groups, political organisations and “charities” devoted towards diversity and equality or race relations is certainly in the four figures, and the total cost to the taxpayer must be several hundred millions of pounds – all totally wasted.

Gutmenschen have apparently been spotted in North America … just saying.

  1. “Spotted” in North America?
That’s like saying ,” a black bear was spotted in the Prince George area last Spring”.
Canada is full of them, (bears and) gutmenschen, in a bewildering variety of alphabet soup organizations,NACSOW probably the most (in)famous.
Take away all the taxpayer supported “consultants” in the employment industry alone and the rate of unemployment would rise significantly, but the illusion that something is being done, that people are actually working, is as the British used to say,”ever so lovely”.

  2. Apparently spotted in North America? You can make those “confirmed” paraiste sightings…and they’re all dressed in green.
    Just Google: Greenbelt Gravy Train

  3. Funny, I always thought that Gutmenschen was German for “I am entitled to my lip-lock on the Public Teat”

  4. Indeed, the Gutmenschen phenomenon has been alive & well in Canada for many decades! Just think of all the Entitlement / Victim groups that exist, most of them funded by our tax dollars.

  5. “Social mobility not only doesn’t fix the problem of the underclass — it is the problem of the underclass.”
    Nailed it!
I was discussing Indian politics with my wife (who’s half Indian) about this very thing. The Indian community (especially on reserve) will always be stuck in a state of disarray and poverty. Why? Because it’s been designed that way!(the same can be said for American black ghettos)
Now one might ask, how can you know this?
It’s quite simple really. All of us know a ‘good Indian”. You know, the guy/gal who’s assimilated, looks sharp and works right next to you. We all have these friends. But what I ask do these ‘good Indians’ have in common? Almost to a tee, the all got the fudge-out of their communities as soon as they could! Why? Can you blame them? Imagine the Indian girl who busted her a$$ to get that degree, so she could pay rent, and purchase the stuff she wants. Now picture that girl, and her frustration that her brothers and uncles (whom she loves) are always at her place, using and abusing her stuff, living on the sofa; then ask, what would you do? I’d get the fudge-out!
Now, extend this to the black sports star. What do we expect him (ie M.Vick) to do? We expect them to leave the ghetto, to leave their friends and families, to leave the destructive forces that are want to pull them back down.
This is why our Indians, and blacks in the USA are stuck in the perpetual loop. Because it’s only natural for someone that has pulled themselves out of the muck, to avoid stepping in the muck. The intended consequence of this is that the aforementioned communities never see, nor share in any of the success some have in their community. All the role models move on.
As long as we ghettoize or continue reserves, the poverty and social mayhem will continue by necessity.
One more point, it’s been my observation that the only successful people that stay on reserve are those that work for the reserve(government). These rent seekers are the only vision of success that a reserve Indian is exposed to; thus perpetuating the victim meme that is often that extra straw on the camels back for these folks.

//It’s not enough that Thilo Sarrazin has been monopolizing public attention in Germany with his discredited racial theories concerning Turks and Arabs. Now his wife is getting into act with her 19th century views on education:
The name Sarrazin is back in the headlines in Germany, but this time it’s not Thilo Sarrazin, author of a best- selling book that criticizes Muslim immigrants for living off social welfare.//

  7. Indiana, correct me if I have it wrong but wasn’t it reported that Lewis of the Atlanta Falcon had his brother die in a drowning incident during last weekend’s game against Green Bay. Sounded sad until you heard his brother was escaping from police driving a stolen car and jumped into the river to continue his escape and drowned.

  8. Dave, that’s a tragic story. It reminds me of how I lost my own dear brother. He fell off a scaffold and broke his neck. Mind you, he was being hanged at the time…
