  14. Copenhagen and ‘climate change’ are the cover for what is a deeper problem, which is the mindless, emotional-laded strategy of the Liberal Party.
    To set up a contest, based around a visual statement (a poster) rather than an analytic statement (a debate, an argument)..means that you are asking only for statements of hyperbole, of emotional extravagance. That’s the nature of a poster.
    And, since you are accepting the AGW as a non-debatable truth, you have removed the use of reason from the situation.
    Then, you narrow this emotional hyperbole down and locate it in one person. This sets up demonization.
    And that’s what the Liberal Party did. This is a political party that aspires to govern? A party that rejects Reason, Debate and instead operates within Dogma and Demonization? Hmmm.

  23. I saw this story on Bourque this morning and another photo showed PMSH “fisting” a cow’s butt right up to his elbow. That one was actually one of the 7 finalist photos to vote on.
    I note that it too is gone. Lieberals are so phoney in so many different ways.

  33. My recollection is that this was a photo taken following the J.F.Kennedy assassination. It showed jack Ruby shooting Harvey Oswald at the Dallas police garage. I’m sure many of us remember seeing this live on TV.
    When any organization sets out to find satire, they invite any and all to display these morbid thoughts.
    The issue is not that some creep would manipulate and post this picture. The immaturity of people who would risk this kind of sick stuff in order to find something or anything to gain advantage
    shows just how desperate they are.
    The fact that this web site would risk ethical damage tells a great deal about the character of those in charge of the LPC.
    They can’t say they didn’t know the risks and they certainly were prepared to roll the dice.
    Pretty sad stuff indeed!

  34. It seems that the assination photo has been removed from the site leaving a whole lot of infantile, (Sierra Club-like) doctored photos. Many used oil sands backdrops. I wonder what Lester Pearson would think of the degenerate mob of intolerant thugs that now call themselves Liberals.

  46. Although you all make a good point, the smart thing to do (IMO) is not to b*tch and whine about the bias media and the “bad” Liberals, but instead to ignore it. Had conservatives ignored this type of thing, it might stay-up a little or much longer. The longer a pic like that stands, the more people will see it exposing the Liberals for exactly what they are.

  48. Kinsella says it was “dumb”. Not wrong, not disgusting, not evil, not an act of hate, – just dumb.
    In other words he approves of the content but not the public consequences.
    These images were screened before they went online at the LPC site. Clearly at least one and probably many more within the party were okay with the image. They should be fired.
    Imagine if the GOP had posted a similar image of Obama. Do you think Obama worshipper Kinsella would say that it was “dumb” and leave it at that?
